Unit Chairperson. (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Union Committee members to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreement.
Unit Chairperson. As required in Article 9.07 of the Central provision of the collective agreement, the Union Chairperson will be allowed ten (10) hours per month.
Unit Chairperson. The Hospital agrees to retain the Union Chairperson at work during his or her respective terms of office during layoffs, provided the Union Chairperson is qualified to perform available work.
Unit Chairperson. The members of the Bargaining Committee shall be given time off during their regularly scheduled working hours, without loss of pay, while actually attending collective bargaining up to and including conciliation.
Unit Chairperson. (a) The Employer agrees to recognize one (1) Unit Chairperson and one (1) xxxxxxx to be elected or appointed from against employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreement.
Unit Chairperson. (a) The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Committee Persons to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreement.
Unit Chairperson. The Employer agrees to retain the Union Chairperson at work during his or her respective terms of office during layoffs, provided the Union Chairperson is qualified to perform available work.
Unit Chairperson. 2. Unit Committee person (in order of their respective seniority)
Unit Chairperson. The Union will select and the Company shall recognize, a Unit Chairperson who shall be a Dynamex employee or owner operator. The Unit Chairperson shall attend to Union business as required and as necessary for the administration of the collective agreement and shall be given free access to all branches and depots within the bargaining unit for these purposes. The Unit Chairperson shall be permitted to attend all meetings related to bargaining unit members if requested and shall attend Rate Committee meetings. The Unit Chairperson will receive their normal hourly rate of pay or, for Owner Operators, twenty five dollars ($25) per hour while attending to union business in meetings with the Company.
Unit Chairperson. (a) The Employer hereby agrees to recognize the Unit Chairperson, who shall be a member of the Collective Bargaining Committee, and one (1) alternate for the Unit Chairperson, each of whom shall have one (1) year's seniority, to act as grievance representatives under this Agreement. The Unit Chairperson's alternate may exercise the functions of the Unit Chairperson under this Agreement only if the Unit Chairperson is absent. It shall be the function of such individuals to act in a representative capacity for the purpose of processing and investigating grievances for employees covered by this Agreement.
