For Information Purposes Only. School term employees who remain covered during period of layoff in accordance with Article 17:2.6.1 herein shall receive full and regular coverage for all benefits except for WI benefits. In the event that a school‐ term employee becomes disabled during the summer layoff period, WI benefits will be suspended during the layoff period and will commence on the date that return to work would have occurred. The period of disability will be deemed to have commenced on the date the disability occurred.
