BUILDING ADVISORY COMMITTEES a. Each school site shall establish a standing committee to be known as the "Building Advisory Committee." The purpose of these committees is to increase communication between building administration and faculty at each individual school.
BUILDING ADVISORY COMMITTEES. 6.0301 As soon as possible in each school year, Association members will elect a building advisory committee for each school building which will meet with the building administrators once every two (2) months or as needed by mutual consent of the parties during the regular school year to review and discuss building needs and concerns. The building advisory committee will consist of three (3) members in each elementary grade level building, four (4) members at the Middle School and four (4) members at the High School. Building advisory committees may invite resource persons as needed to address specialized issues.

The Association will be consulted by the Superintendent in the event of a reduction in force to help determine how its membership will be affected. As allowed by NRS 391.3116 reduction in force including refusal to reemploy for reduction of students or District reorganization shall be pursuant to this Article and not NRS Chapter 391. Except as expressly provided in sections 26.2.3 and 26.2.4 implementation of reduction in force does not allow more senior Administrators to bump or displace less senior Administrators. The District and Association agree that where possible the most qualified employees shall be retained in any layoff or reduction in force. Implementation of the provisions of this Article is within the sole discretion of the Superintendent and is not subject to the grievance procedure except to appeal procedural violations of this Article.

The committees will meet monthly except by mutual agreement of the committees’ members. Meeting dates will be posted at the beginning of the school year. There will be minutes taken and shared with staff within a timely manner after each meeting. The Association and Administration committee members will prioritize the issues that they wish to discuss and alternate discussions in order that the team may consider concerns from both parties. Administration and Association committee members will rotate presenting the initial concern from meeting to meeting and also rotate the position of chair for each meeting between the Administration and Association committee members.
BUILDING ADVISORY COMMITTEES. The teacher representatives defined in Section 6.12 shall meet as needed with their Administrator to discuss building level concerns prior to such concerns being brought to the District Advisory Committee. No discussions, resolutions, understandings, or agreements reached by the Building Advisory Committee shall be subject to the grievance procedure or binding arbitration under this Agreement.

The committees will be comprised with a minimum constituency as follows: ELEMENTARY SCHOOL The building principal and/or designee and five (5) building teachers. MIDDLE SCHOOL The building principal and/or designee and six (6) building teachers. HIGH SCHOOL The building principal and/or designee and eight (8) building teachers.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:

  • Operating Committee the Consortium’s managing body, composed of representatives of the Manager and the Contractors, pursuant to Annex XI.

  • JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 5.01 A Joint Advisory Committee shall operate during the term of this agreement consisting of one (1) employee representative from each location and up to an equal number of employer representatives who shall meet at least once every six (6) months to discuss working conditions, economy of operation, quality and quantity of service, safety and health, workplace stress, violence and abuse prevention, and other matters to promote an ongoing harmonious relationship between the Employer and its employees. The Joint Advisory Committee shall meet at the request of either party. The full-time Union Representative may attend said meetings. All time spent attending Joint Advisory Committee meetings by employees shall be considered time worked but time spent at “pre-meetings” will not be considered time worked.

  • Joint Committees 1101 Release Time

  • Sub-Committees 15.1 The Joint Committee shall establish the membership and terms of reference for any sub-committees or sub-groups which it establishes and may dissolve such sub-committees or sub-groups. Sub-committees to which the Joint Committee delegates functions are bound by the provisions of this Agreement regulating the taking of decisions by the Joint Committee. The Joint Committee may create additional sub-committees from time to time as it sees fit.

  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC The goal of this subtask is to create an advisory committee for this Agreement. The TAC should be composed of diverse professionals. The composition will vary depending on interest, availability, and need. TAC members will serve at the CAM’s discretion. The purpose of the TAC is to: • Provide guidance in project direction. The guidance may include scope and methodologies, timing, and coordination with other projects. The guidance may be based on: o Technical area expertise; o Knowledge of market applications; or o Linkages between the agreement work and other past, present, or future projects (both public and private sectors) that TAC members are aware of in a particular area. • Review products and provide recommendations for needed product adjustments, refinements, or enhancements. • Evaluate the tangible benefits of the project to the state of California, and provide recommendations as needed to enhance the benefits. • Provide recommendations regarding information dissemination, market pathways, or commercialization strategies relevant to the project products. The TAC may be composed of qualified professionals spanning the following types of disciplines: • Researchers knowledgeable about the project subject matter; • Members of trades that will apply the results of the project (e.g., designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and trade representatives); • Public interest market transformation implementers; • Product developers relevant to the project; • U.S. Department of Energy research managers, or experts from other federal or state agencies relevant to the project; • Public interest environmental groups; • Utility representatives; • Air district staff; and • Members of relevant technical society committees. The Recipient shall: • Prepare a List of Potential TAC Members that includes the names, companies, physical and electronic addresses, and phone numbers of potential members. The list will be discussed at the Kick-off meeting, and a schedule for recruiting members and holding the first TAC meeting will be developed. • Recruit TAC members. Ensure that each individual understands member obligations and the TAC meeting schedule developed in subtask 1.11. • Prepare a List of TAC Members once all TAC members have committed to serving on the TAC. • Submit Documentation of TAC Member Commitment (such as Letters of Acceptance) from each TAC member.
