Bulletin Boards and E-mail. The Employer agrees to furnish space for bulletin boards in the facilities to be used by members of the Association for the posting of notices pertaining to Association business. A courtesy copy of each filing shall be supplied to the superintendent at the time of posting. The parties agree that materials which are obscene, defamatory or impair the operation of the Department or which constitute partisan political material shall not be posted. The Association shall have the right to use State electronic mail, in accordance with State Use Policy (subject to change), in order to disseminate Association information within the Bargaining Unit. The Association and its members shall not use the State’s electronic mail for internal Union political campaigns or election activities. The Association shall have the right to use State electronic mail for Association/Employer communications.

Bulletin Boards and E-mail. Notwithstanding the provisions of 16 PR 005, the Employer shall provide non-public space for the posting of Association notices on existing bulletin boards, which are primarily for Member information. Use of e-mail for union business shall be allowed, provided that such use is consistent with Rule 16 of the Personnel Rules, and such use does not interfere with the operations of the Police Department or the performance of the Member’s duties.

The Chief Shop Xxxxxxx will post officially signed Union notices and the Company shall maintain represented job postings on the on-line bulletin board. In shops where multiple employees share a computer a physical bulletin board will continue to be provided. The Company is only responsible for maintaining represented job postings on the on-line bulletin board. The Vice President of Human Resources, or designee, may allow the Chief Shop Xxxxxxx(s) the use of e-mail for the timely dissemination of Union bulletins and information.

Such material may not relate to partisan political matters or be defamatory in nature. The union shall further have the right to place copies of posted material in the mailboxes of its members. The union shall be readily identified in any such materials. The union shall have the right to the use of the school systems email facilities, and the right of distribution of materials to teachers’ mailboxes.

Union bulletins and notices and/or E Mail communications shall be signed or otherwise duly authorized by a Union Official and forwarded to the Executive Director, or designate, for approval. Such approval shall not be unreasonably denied.

Bulletin Boards and E-mail. The Office of the Sheriff shall provide FOP 24 with exclusive bulletin board space of no less than three (3) feet by three (3) feet at all stations in roll call areas and in the Sheriff’s Headquarters building for the exclusive use of FOP 24; provided, however, that the Office of the Sheriff shall not be required to replace or move any bulletin boards in use on October 1, 2003. The bulletin boards shall be used for official FOP newsletters, notices, literature, or correspondence. No commercial or other proprietary advertisements will be permitted on the bulletin boards without the prior approval of the Office of the Sheriff. In addition, FOP 24 shall be allowed to use the Sheriff’s E-Mail system to provide officers with notice of FOP meetings and special events unless this privilege is revoked by the Sheriff.
