Calculation of Sick Leave Credits. 1. Sick leave credits are earned at the rate of twelve (12) working days for each year of service for full-time employees and are prorated for part-time employees.
Calculation of Sick Leave Credits. Employees earn 96 hours per year or 4 hours credited the first two pay periods of each month if scheduled to work full-time. Credits are pro-rated for part-time employees. Sick leave credits are earned at the end of each of each of the first two (2) pay period of each month. These sick leave credits may not be used until the start of the next bi-weekly pay period. There is no restriction as to the number of hours of sick leave credits that may be accumulated, nor to the number of accrued sick leave credits that may be used for a bona fide employee illness or disability, provided that the qualifying period has been completed.
