Call-In Postings. The purpose of Call-In Postings is to ensure service continuity in the absence of permanent staff through a process of consolidating replacement hours of work. The parties agree that this Article shall operate in concert with Article 11.10
Call-In Postings xi) Employees cannot give up shifts in a department and classification to work in another department or classification. Except as otherwise provided in this Article, employees shall be expected to work their scheduled shifts. It is further understood that once an employee accepts an offer of additional work, he/she is obligated to report for that work unless subsequently granted paid or unpaid leave pursuant to the Collective Agreement.
