Canada Post. Canada Post strike/lockout will not affect grievance time limits.
Canada Post. Purchasers/Tenants are hereby advised that mail delivery will be from a designated Community Mailbox as per requirements dictated by Canada Post. The location of the mailbox shall be shown on the community plan provided by the Owner in its Sales Office.
Canada Post. The Developer shall enter into an agreement with Canada Post with respect to the location of Canada Post pickup and delivery boxes. The Developer shall advise Canada Post to confirm the location of the mail boxes, and inform the Township Engineer, prior to undertaking any work. The Developer shall provide the following for each Community Mailbox location:
(i) an appropriately sized sidewalk section (concrete pad), as per municipal standards, to place the Community Mailboxes on;
(ii) any required walkway across the boulevard, as per municipal standards; and,
(iii) any required curb depressions and tactile plates for wheelchair access. The Developer shall provide suitable temporary Community Mailbox locations which may be utilized by Canada Post until the curbs, sidewalks and final grading have been completed at the permanent Community Mailbox site locations to enable Canada Post to provide mail service to new residents as soon as possible as homes are occupied.
Canada Post. The Developer agrees to facilitate the construction of Canada Post facilities at locations and in manners agreeable to the Town in consultation with Canada Post, and that where such facilities are to be located within public right of ways, they shall be approved on the composite utility plan and be in accordance with Town Standards.
Canada Post. The Developer covenants and agrees to provide the City of Xxxxxxx with evidence that satisfactory arrangements, financial and otherwise, have been made with Canada Post Corporation for the installation of Community Mail Boxes (CMB) as required by Canada Post Corporation and as shown on the approved engineering design drawings/Draft Plan, at the time of sidewalk and/or curb installation. The Developer further covenants and agrees to provide notice to prospective purchasers of the locations of CMBs and that home/business mail delivery will be provided via CMB, provided the Developer has paid for the activation and equipment installation of the CMBs.
Canada Post a) The Owner covenants and agrees to consult with Canada Post, if required, for the placement and installation of Community Mail Boxes within the Lands.
Canada Post. Canada Post requires the following conditions be included in the subdivision agreement: At Owner’s expense
Canada Post. If the agency condition relates to a condition(s) in the development agreement, a copy of said agreement should be sent to them. This will expedite the clearance of the final plan. Payment of clearance letter fees may be required from the clearing agencies before the clearance letter is issued; please contact the appropriate agency for information in this matter.
Canada Post. In CUPW, the Federal Court of Canada broadly construed Canada Post’s exclusive privilege. Justice Xxxxxx found section 14 of the CPC Act to be an empowering provision, one which did not prescribe the manner in which Canada Post’s exclusive privilege may be exercised.
Canada Post. Prior to final approval, the Subdivider shall consult with Canada Post to determine suitable permanent locations for the Community Mail Boxes and that the locations will be indicated on the appropriate servicing plans.
