Cessation of Hostilities. 1. The Parties shall comply with the cessation of hostilities begun with the agreement of October 5, 1995 and shall continue to refrain from all offensive operations of any type against each other. An offensive operation in this case is an action that includes projecting forces or fire forward of a Party's own lines. Each Party shall ensure that all personnel and organizations with military capability under its control or within territory under its control, including armed civilian groups, national guards, army reserves, military police, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs Special Police (MUP) (hereinafter "Forces") comply with this Annex. The term "Forces" does not include UNPROFOR, the International Police Task Force referred to in the General Framework Agreement, the IFOR or other elements referred to in Article I, paragraph 1 (c).
2. In carrying out the obligations set forth in paragraph 1, the Parties undertake, in particular, to cease the firing of all weapons and explosive devices except as authorized by this Annex. The Parties shall not place any additional minefields, barriers, or protective obstacles. They shall not engage in patrolling, ground or air reconnaissance forward of their own force positions, or into the Zones of Separation as provided for in Article IV below, without IFOR approval.
3. The Parties shall provide a safe and secure environment for all persons in their respective jurisdictions, by maintaining civilian law enforcement agencies operating in accordance with internationally recognized standards and with respect for internationally recognized human rights and fundamental freedoms, and by taking such other measures as appropriate. The Parties also commit themselves to disarm and disband all armed civilian groups, except for authorized police forces, within 30 days after the Transfer of Authority.
4. The Parties shall cooperate fully with any international personnel including investigators, advisors, monitors, observers, or other personnel in Bosnia and Herzegovina pursuant to the General Framework Agreement, including facilitating free and unimpeded access and movement and by providing such status as is necessary for the effective conduct of their tasks.

Cessation of Hostilities. 2.1. The parties underline the importance of the commitments of July 5, 2001. There shall be a complete cessation of hostilities, complete voluntary disarmament of the ethnic Albanian armed groups and their complete voluntary disbandment. They acknowledge that a decision by NATO to assist in this context will require the establishment of a general, unconditional and open-ended cease-fire, agreement on a political solution to the problems of this country, a clear commitment by the armed groups to voluntarily disarm, and acceptance by all the parties of the conditions and limitations under which the NATO forces will operate.
Cessation of Hostilities. 1. The FRY Forces shall immediately, upon entry into force (EIF) of this Agreement, refrain from committing any hostile or provocative acts of any type against any person in Kosovo and will order armed forces to cease all such activities. They shall not encourage, organise or support hostile or provocative demonstrations.
2. Phased Withdrawal of FRY Forces (ground): The FRY agrees to a phased withdrawal of all FRY Forces from Kosovo to locations in Serbia outside Kosovo. FRY Forces will xxxx and clear minefields, booby traps and obstacles. As they withdraw, FRY Forces will clear all lines of communication by removing all mines, demolitions, booby traps, obstacles and charges. They will also xxxx all sides of all minefields. International security forces' ("KFOR") entry and deployment into Kosovo will be synchronized. The phased withdrawal of FRY Forces from Kosovo will be in accordance with the sequence outlined below:
a. By EIF + 1 day, FRY Forces located in Zone 3 will have vacated, via designated routes, that Zone to demonstrate compliance (depicted on the map at Appendix A to the Agreement). Once it is verified that FRY forces have complied with this subparagraph and with paragraph 1 of this Article, NATO air strikes will be suspended. The suspension will continue provided that the obligations of this agreement are fully complied with, and provided that the UNSC adopts a resolution concerning the deployment of the international security force ("KFOR") so rapidly that a security gap can be avoided.
b. By EIF + 6 days, all FRY Forces in Kosovo will have vacated Zone 1 (depicted on the map at Appendix A to the Agreement). Establish liaison teams with the KFOR commander in Pristina.
c. By EIF + 9 days, all FRY Forces in Kosovo will have vacated Zone 2 (depicted on the map at Appendix A to the Agreement).
d. By EIF + 11 days, all FRY Forces in Kosovo will have vacated Zone 3 (depicted on the map at Appendix A to the Agreement).
e. By EIF +11 days, all FRY Forces in Kosovo will have completed their withdrawal from Kosovo (depicted on map at Appendix A to the Agreement) to locations in Serbia outside Kosovo, and not within the 5 km GSZ. At the end of the sequence (EIF + 11), the senior FRY Forces commanders responsible for the withdrawing forces shall confirm in writing to the international security force ("KFOR") commander that the FRY Forces have complied and completed the phased withdrawal. Cessation of Hostilities. The Parties, shall announce a cessation of hostilities, to be effective 24 hours after the signing of the Cease Fire Agreement. The announcement of cessation of hostilities shall be disseminated by the parties through command channels, and it shall concurrently be communicated to the civil population via print and electronic media.
Cessation of Hostilities. Article 1: Cease-Fire
Cessation of Hostilities. 1. The Parties shall announce a cessation of hostilities, to be effective within 72 hours after the signing of this Agreement. The announcement of cessation of hostilities shall be disseminated by the Parties through command channels, and it shall concurrently be communicated to the civil population via print and electronic media.
2. Until the deployment of international observers, the cessation of hostilities shall be regulated and monitored by the Parties through the Joint Military Commission. Once it has been deployed, the International Monitoring Unit (IMU) shall report to the JMC regarding verification, control and monitoring of the cessation of hostilities and subsequent disengagement.
3. Once the cease-fire has become effective, neither of the Parties shall engage in movement or redeployment of forces resulting in tactical or strategic advantage.
4. Any violation of the cessation of hostilities and subsequent events shall be reported to the JMC through the agreed chain of command for investigation.

The Parties to this Agreement and having armed forces, namely the Government of the DRC, the RCD, the MLC, the RDC-ML, the RCD-N, and the Mai-Mai, renew their commitment, in accordance with the Lusaka Agreement, the Kampala Withdrawal Plan, the Harare Sub-Agreement and the relevant Security Council Resolutions, to cease hostilities and to seek a peaceful and equitable solution to the crisis that the country is facing.
2. The Parties to this Agreement and having armed forces agree to commit themselves to the process of creating a restructured, integrated national army in accordance with the Resolution adopted on 10 April 2002 by the Plenary of the Inter-Congolese Dialogue (ICD) at Sun City.
3. The various elements and entities involved in the ICD, Parties to this Agreement (the Parties), namely the Government of the DRC, the RCD, the MLC, the political opposition, civil society, the RDC-ML, the RCD-N and the Xxx-Xxx, agree to combine their efforts in the implementation of the Security Council Resolutions for a withdrawal of all foreign troops from the territory of the DRC and the disarming of the armed groups and militia and to safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the DRC.
4. The Parties agree to combine their efforts in order to achieve national reconciliation. To this effect, they decided to set up a government of national unity which will organise free and democratic elections after a period of transition the duration of which is fixed in this Agreement.
Cessation of Hostilities a. The Parties shall cease all hostilities, including aerial bombardments against each other and renounce the use of violence to resolve their differences.
b. The Joint Political and Security Mechanism ("JPSM") shall oversee compliance with the cessation of hostilities as per the 23 June 2012 Agreement on the Definition of Cessation of Hostilities and oversee compliance with the 10 February 2012 Memorandum of Understanding on Non-aggression and Cooperation.

5. The Parties agree to take all the necessary measures to make the people and the leaders involved in the transition process feel secure both in Kinshasa and in the whole of the national territory. To this effect, measures will be taken to guarantee the security of the population, the institutions, the organisers and the main leaders of the different Parties to this Agreement and their armed forces.
Cessation of Hostilities. The Parties shall, immediately upon entry into force of this Agreement (EIF), re- xxxxx from committing any hostile or provoc- ative acts of any type against each other or against any person in Kosovo. They shall not encourage or organize hostile or provocative demonstrations.
