Close Down Period. An employee may be required to utilise up to five working days annual leave during a designated close-down period or to take such days as leave without pay.

Close Down Period. Police will determine a close down period each year that will normally include the Christmas and New Year’s statutory holidays and up to six (6) days that would otherwise be working days. The close down period will be confirmed to managers no later than 1 October in each year. During the close down period managers are not required to attend the workplace and must take annual leave (or any other leave type available to them) during this period. Essential managers and/or those otherwise rostered or on standby may attend the workplace and not take annual leave. Notwithstanding the above, Police may agree other arrangements if a manager has an agreed leave accumulation plan in place under clause 6.3 of this agreement.

  • Annual Close Down (i) The Employer may by two months’ notice in writing declare that the establishment, project or business shall observe a complete Christmas - New Year close down, such Employee shall be entitled to leave on a pro rata basis and such an Employee may be stood down for the duration of the close-down period, provided that any such Employee shall be paid for all public holidays occurring during the close-down period.

  • Break Period All employees working in full time (7 or 7.5 hour) positions shall be permitted a fifteen (15) minute rest period both in the first half and the second half of a shift.

  • Posting Period Vacancies that the University intends to fill shall be posted for a period of seven (7) full working days before the deadline for applications for the position.

  • Listing Period Extension The Commission shall be due if the Property is sold, conveyed, exchanged, optioned, or otherwise transferred within _ _ days (“Extension Period”) after the expiration of the Listing Period to anyone with whom the Broker or Agency has negotiated unless the Property is listed, in good faith, with another real estate agency. The term “negotiation” shall include providing information about the Property, showing the Property, or presenting an offer on the Property. All rights under this Section shall terminate upon the expiration of the Extension Period.

  • Probation Period It is understood and agreed that the first ninety days of employment shall constitute a probationary period during which period the Employer may, in its absolute discretion, terminate the Employee's employment, for any reason without notice or cause.
