COLLEGE CALENDAR. Each Employee shall be given a copy of the calendar for an Academic Year prior to the end of the Spring semester of the previous Academic year. The calendar shall identify all holidays.
COLLEGE CALENDAR. An official College calendar shall be published each year. The calendar shall be prepared by the President or his or her designee in consultation with the Faculty Executive Committee. Modifications of the calendar during the year may be made by the President in order to meet unforeseen circumstances. The President or his or her designee will consult with the Faculty Executive Committee regarding such modifications.
COLLEGE CALENDAR. The President of the College shall annually (but not later than November 15) appoint a committee to prepare a calendar for recommendation to the Board of Trustees. Such committee will be composed of three (3) tenured faculty members appointed by the Union President or designee and three (3) persons appointed by the President of the College or designee. The College President may appoint one (1) student representative, provided by the Student Government Association (SGA) to provide a student perspective.
COLLEGE CALENDAR. The District and LBCCFA hereby agree that the College calendar shall be developed by an institutional committee composed of representatives from LBCCFA, LBCCE-AFT, the student body, and the District.
COLLEGE CALENDAR. 14.1 The work year shall be one hundred seventy-five (175) days for the duration of this Contract.
14.1.1 By mutual agreement between full-time Unit Members and the appropriate Vice President, the full- time Unit Member may work outside of the academic calendar but within the fiscal year and take compensatory time off.
14.2 The agreed upon calendar is attached as Appendix H.
14.2.1 The Association and the District agree that Spring break will be scheduled to begin on the first Monday in April in order to best serve the students of the College and establish consistency in scheduling from year to year. ACADEMIC FLEX CALENDAR
14.3 The academic calendar will consist of one hundred seventy-five (175) days.
14.4 There will be one hundred sixty-eight (168) instructional days.
14.5 For 2013-2014 there will be ten (10) flex days; eight (8) are designated contract flex days and two (2) mandatory flex days. Beginning in 2016-2017 there will be seven (7) flex days; five (5) are designated contract flex days and two (2) mandatory flex days.
14.6 Definition: A flexible calendar day shall be defined as a six (6) hour day.
COLLEGE CALENDAR. For the term of this Agreement, the College calendar shall be as set forth in Appendix B.

COLLEGE CALENDAR. 7.1 Upon adoption of a college calendar process, SEIU shall be given representation on the calendar committee.
COLLEGE CALENDAR. The College calendars (including beginning and ending of academic sessions, holidays, withdrawal dates) for the credit and Adult Education divisions will be made available to adjunct faculty as soon as they are finalized by the respective divisions, but no later than the first day of the semester.
COLLEGE CALENDAR. The work year for the faculty consists of 169 days during which faculty are expected to be on campus. The work year is allocated as follows:
