Computation of Days. For the purpose of this Article, working days shall exclude weekends and statutory holidays.
Computation of Days. In computing any period of days or clear days under the by-laws of the Corporation or the Act, the period shall be deemed to commence on the day following the event that begins the period and shall be deemed to end at midnight on the last day of the period except that if the last day of the period falls on a holiday, the period shall end at midnight of the first day next following such day that is not a holiday.
Computation of Days. Unless otherwise specified in this Agreement or any Exhibit attached hereto, use of the term "days" shall mean calendar days. Computation of Days. Days worked as a substitute prior to the initial probationary period will not be counted toward an employee’s initial probationary period. Leaves of absence described in Article 16 of this contract shall not be regarded as a break in the consecutive days worked. However, such leave days shall not be considered as workdays toward the number of days required by the applicable probationary period. . During the initial probationary period, an employee may bid and receive a position once within the employee’s working classification, but not outside it, unless the second job does not interfere or conflict with the first. If a bargaining unit member bids out of a position during his/her probationary period, the employee shall serve a full probationary period in the new position. Time served under a probationary period may not be carried over as a credit for time to be served for another probationary period.
Computation of Days. In computing any time period prescribed or allowed in this Agreement, the day of the act, event or default from which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included. The last day of the period so computed shall be included, unless it is not a Business Day, or, when the act to be done is the filing of a paper in court, a day on which weather or other conditions have made the clerk’s office inaccessible, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day which is not one of the aforementioned days.
