CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY REHABILITATION FUND Clause Samples
The Construction Industry Rehabilitation Fund clause establishes a requirement for contributions to a fund dedicated to supporting rehabilitation services for workers in the construction industry. Typically, this clause obligates employers or contractors to make regular payments, often calculated as a percentage of payroll or contract value, into a designated fund managed by an industry body or trust. Its core practical function is to ensure that resources are available for programs addressing workplace injuries, substance abuse, or other rehabilitation needs, thereby promoting worker well-being and supporting industry-wide health and safety initiatives.
