Effective September each Employer shall contribute to the Industry Fund a sum equal to fifty-sixty cents ($0.56) for each hour worked by each employee and it is further agreed that these contributions shall be remitted to the Welfare Trust Administrator by the 20th day of the month following the month in which the hours were worked, and these contributions shall be immediately remitted to the Association. The Fund shall be administered by the Board of Directors of the Association and the cost involved in the Administration shall be the responsibility of the Association. The remittance of these contributions shall be as provided for in Article of this Appendix.
INDUSTRY FUNDS. General Contractors choosing to employ Union members for Acoustic/Drywall work assignments exclusively, are required to remit all trust monies as per the Acoustic/Drywall schedule so the Association Administration Funds will be directed to the Acoustical Association of Ontario/Interior Systems Contractors Association. All wages and benefit changes to take effect on the first Sunday following ratification and any other changes to wages and benefits to be effective on a Sunday rather than any other day of the week. No pension contributions will be made for first year apprentices (First 1800 hours). Health and Welfare Contributions shall be made from the first day of employment for all apprentices. The Foremen’s Differential in Article 6 – Schedule D is payable to the employee designated to be in charge of the project, whenever ten (10) or more employees are regularly employed on a project.

This Fund shall be administered through the office of the Administrator. The Industry Fund amounts on receipt shall be immediately paid to the Ontario Painting Contractors Association as each Employer's contribution to the cost of general administrative and/or operating use and the general advancement of the painting and decorating business. Effective July each Employer shall remit to the International Brotherhood of Painters Allied Trades Ontario Council Industry Promotion Fund, a sum equal to ten cents ($0.1O) for each hour worked by each employee. This Fund shall be administered through the office of the Administrator. The Industry Fund amounts on receipt shall be immediately paid to the International Brotherhood of Painters Allied Trades Ontario Council as each Employer's contribution to the cost of general administrative and/or operating use and the general advancement of the painting and decorating business. The Employer and the Union (as per May amendment) shall bear responsibility for the costs involved for the collection and distribution of the money in these Funds as effected by the Administrator. Wage rates in each Local have been adjusted to reflect this change. The remittance of these Funds shall be as provided for in Article of this Appendix. ARTICLE
