The 'Construction Vehicles' clause defines the rules and requirements for the use of vehicles on a construction site. Construction Vehicles. 9.7.1. Construction vehicles shall only use a route approved by the Town, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, delayed or conditioned. There shall be no staging or idling of vehicles on public roads. The Town shall be provided a schedule of deliveries using vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight greater than 88,000 pounds.
9.7.2. Construction vehicles will not travel on Town roads before 6:00 am or after 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, unless prior approval is obtained from the Town. Construction vehicles will not travel on Town roads on Sunday, unless prior approval is obtained from the Town.
9.7.3. Construction will only be conducted between 5:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday – Saturday, unless prior approval is obtained from the Town. Construction will not be conducted on Sundays, unless prior approval is obtained from the Town.
9.7.4. The start-up and idling of trucks and equipment will conform to all applicable Department of Transportation regulations. In addition, the start- up and idling of trucks and equipment will only be conducted between 5:30 am and 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. The start-up and idling of trucks and equipment will not be conducted before 5:30 am, after 7:00 pm or on Sundays, unless prior approval is obtained from the Town.
9.7.5. Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement to the contrary, upon prior approval of the Town, over-sized vehicles delivering equipment and supplies may travel on Town roads between the hours of 7:00 pm and 6:00 am and on Sundays in order to minimize potential disruptions to area roads.
Construction Vehicles. A. All slow moving construction vehicles shall have a slow moving sign visible from the rear of the vehicle.
B. All vehicles used for construction activities shall have audible back-up warning devices.
Construction Vehicles. 9.7.1. Construction vehicles shall only use a route approved by the Town. There shall be no staging or idling of vehicles on public roads. The Town shall be notified at least 24 hours before each construction vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight greater than 88,000 pounds is to use a Town road. Acceptance by the Town of vehicles exceeding this level is not a waiver of the Owner’s obligation to repair all damage to roadways caused by vehicles used during construction or during any other time through the completion of decommissioning.
Construction Vehicles. 1. No vehicles shall be authorized to enter the institution without specific permission of the Correctional Captain/designee. The only vehicles authorized to enter the institution are ones that are directly related to and required for construction. Other parking sites on institution grounds will be designated as needed by the Correctional Captain/designee.
2. To minimize processing time through Vehicle ▇▇▇▇▇ ports, the Contractor shall furnish a list and description of vehicles that will be approved for routine entry through the construction ▇▇▇▇▇ port.
a. Information shall include license plate number, vehicle identification number, color, make, model, year, and body type.
b. Up to 72 hours written notice may be required to approve access for vehicles which were not previously approved by the Correctional Captain/designee.
3. Access to the construction site shall be limited to Contractor's company-owned vehicles.
4. Contractor's company-owned vehicles shall be plainly marked on both sides of the exterior with contractor's name and/or company symbol/logo.
5. Contractor's company vehicles will not be allowed to remain within the secure perimeter during non-work hours.
6. Delivery vehicles will be permitted access to the Contractor's work areas within the secure perimeter on a pre-scheduled and pre-cleared basis only. Only the driver will be permitted in or on the vehicle.
7. Vehicles and equipment may only be running when being operated. If not being operated, the vehicle or equipment must be shut off and locked. Ignition keys will be removed and vehicles will be locked when not in use. Should staff find an unattended vehicle with keys in it, they will confiscate the keys.
8. All gasoline and diesel fueled vehicles entering the secured perimeter will have locking fuel tank caps, which will remain locked whenever the vehicle is on the institution property.
9. All vehicles will be searched before entering the secured perimeter. A correctional staff person will conduct the search and will look for the following:
Construction Vehicles. Any vehicles of persons actively engaged in the construction or repair of a dwelling within the Subdivision shall be permitted to park in driveways during such construction or repair.
Construction Vehicles. (a) The start-up and idling of trucks and equipment will conform to all applicable New Hampshire Department of Transportation regulations. In addition, the start-up and idling of trucks and equipment on the Project Facilities will normally be conducted between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday When practical, NPT will advise the Town of circumstances that require start-up and idling times to vary, consistent with the reasoning set forth in Section 2.4 of this Agreement.
(b) Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement to the contrary, over-sized vehicles delivering equipment and supplies may, with advance notice, travel on Town roads between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Sunday so that the timing of such over-sized deliveries will minimize potential disruptions to area roads.
(c) The Parties acknowledge and agree that helicopters may be necessary at times in order to complete construction of the Project Facilities. To the extent practical, NPT agrees to provide notice to the Town of its intended use of helicopters.
(d) Where access roads meet the public roads, NPT may use rock aprons or the equivalent to minimize the tracking of dirt from the access road onto the public road as a result of construction vehicle movements.
