Conformity of production and routine tests The conformity of production procedures shall comply with those set out in the Agreement, Appendix 2 (E/ECE/324-E/ECE/TRANS/505/Rev.2), with the following requirements: Any Enhanced Child Restraint System approved to this Regulation shall be so manufactured as to conform to the type approved by meeting the requirements set forth in paragraphs 6. to 7. above. The minimum requirements for conformity of production control procedures set forth in Annex 12 to this Regulation shall be complied with. The Type Approval Authority which has granted type approval may at any time verify the conformity control methods applied in each production facility. The normal frequency of these verifications shall be twice a year. Modification and extension of approval of an enhanced child restraint system Every modification of an Enhanced Child Restraint System shall be notified to the Type Approval Authority which approved the Enhanced Child Restraint System. The Type Approval Authority may then either: Consider that the modifications made are unlikely to have an appreciable adverse effect and that in any case the enhanced child restraint system still complies with the requirements; or Require a further test report from the Technical Service responsible for conducting the tests. If a further test report is required, compare the horizontal head excursion result with the worst case from all results previously recorded: If the excursion is greater, then new production qualification testing must be carried out; If the excursion is less, production qualification tests do not need to be carried out. Confirmation or refusal of approval, specifying the alterations, shall be communicated by the procedure specified in paragraph 5.3. above to the Parties to the Agreement applying this Regulation. The Type Approval Authority issuing the extension of approval shall assign a series number for such an extension and inform thereof the other Parties to the 1958 Agreement applying this Regulation by means of a communication form conforming to the model in Ann...
