Cultural and Linguistic Proficiency i. 60.3. Information Access for Individuals with Limited English Proficiency
60.3.1. COUNTY shall comply with all applicable provisions of the Xxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxx Bilingual Services Act (Government Code sections 7290-7299.8) regarding access to materials that explain services available to the public as well as providing language interpretation services.

The 15 CLAS Standards are contained within the following areas: 1) Principal; 2) Governance, Leadership, and Workforce; 3) Communication and Language Assistance; and 4) Engagement, Continuous Improvement and Accountability.
