Definitions and Objectives. 1.1. Bexhill-on-Sea town Council reinstated the role of Town Crier at a competition on 9th April 2022, bringing back a tradition of making public announcements.
1.2. The Town Crier role is a voluntary position undertaken by choice and is unpaid. The Town Crier is not invited to carry out work to replace paid staff.

Definitions and Objectives. The EC (European Commission, 2016) defines communication as follows: O1: Raise public awareness and ensure maximum visibility of DITOs key objectives, activities and outcomes at a European and international level. O2: Announce and promote DITOs events, contributing to upgrade its attendance and engagement potential. O3: Support the dissemination objectives; O4: Promote EU research and create a Pan-European and international infrastructure for DIY science and citizen science. O1: Identify targets, messages, tools and channels; build an adequate and effective communication and dissemination plan to ensure the best impact of project results. O2: Design a comprehensive set of communication material (including the project logo) to ensure an easy identification of the project and a major exposure. O3: Use the dissemination channels; organise project events and participate in workshops, conference and international/EC meetings.
Definitions and Objectives. 1.1. Bexhill-on-Sea town Council reinstated the role of Town Xxxx Bearer at 19th May 2021, continuing the tradition of bearing the Town Xxxx from the Charter Trustees, and the Borough of Bexhill previously.
1.2. The Town Xxxx Bearer role is a voluntary position undertaken by choice and paid an allowance to compensate for costs incurred. The Town Xxxx Bearer is not invited to carry out work to replace paid staff.

1. For purposes of this Agreement:
(a) administrative ruling of general application means an administrative ruling or interpretation that applies to all persons and fact situations that fall generally within its ambit and that establishes a norm of conduct but does not include:
(i) a determination or ruling made in an administrative or quasi-judicial proceeding that applies to a particular person, good or service of the other Party in a specific case, or
(ii) a ruling that adjudicates with respect to a particular act or practice;
(b) due process means that proceedings are conducted by decision-makers who are impartial and independent and do not have an interest in the outcome of the matter, that the Parties to the proceedings are entitled to support or defend their respective positions and to present information or evidence, and that the decision is based on such information or evidence;
(c) environmental laws mean statutory or regulatory provisions of a Party, including legally binding instruments made pursuant to such provisions, the primary purpose of which is the protection of the environment, or the prevention of a danger to human life or health, through:
(i) the prevention, abatement or control of the release, discharge, or emission of pollutants or environmental contaminants,
(ii) the control of environmentally hazardous or toxic chemicals, substances, materials and wastes, and the dissemination of information related thereto, or
(iii) the conservation and protection of wild flora or wildlife, including endangered species and their habitat, and specially protected natural areas, in the Party's territory, but does not include any statutory or regulatory provision directly related to worker health and safety or public health, nor any statutory or regulatory provision of which the primary purpose is managing the commercial harvest or exploitation, or subsistence or aboriginal harvesting, of natural resources;
(d) environmental governance means the domestic system of legal, administrative, scientific and technical processes which collectively support the development, implementation, review, and improvement of laws, policies, programs and procedures for the conservation, protection and enhancement of the environment, including the prevention of environmental danger to human health;
(e) person means a natural person, or a legal person, such as an enterprise or non- governmental organization;

The EC (European Commission, 2016) defines communication and dissemination as follows: Communication: “Communication on projects is a strategically planned process, which starts at the outset of the action and continues throughout its entire lifetime, aimed at promoting the action and its results. It requires strategic and targeted measures for communicating about (i) the action and (ii) its results to a multitude of audiences, including the media and the public and possibly engaging in a two-way exchange.”
