Dissemination Objectives. The first aspect that shall guide the planning of dissemination activities is their temporal distribution along the timeframe of the project. Certain dissemination activities will have a continuous scope, being available at any time (for instance, the project’s website). Other activities will be undertaken only for short periods of time and usually associated with specific project milestones or external events. Since the information generated by the project members will increase (in quantity and quality) as the project advances, the amount of effort and the expected results should be scaled up along the timeframe of the project. As a general strategy, the effort and resources will follow certain phases: • In the early phase of the project, the goal is to promote basic public awareness of the project’s existence, goals and beta prototype testing activities. • In intermediary stages, people already aware of the project may require updates. This will be achieved with the intermediate prototype and testing results of the second development phase of the PULSAR project. • In the final phase, the main goal is to publicise the results of the project, and prepare the academic and industrial communities for the next phase, post PULSAR. In terms of external outreach, a variety of methods will be used during the life time of PULSAR.
Dissemination Objectives. ‌ The aim of dissemination is to make ‘research results known to various stakeholder groups in a targeted way, to enable them to use the results in their own work.’ Dissemination of the Space@Sea project will ultimately aim to ensure that the goals and the results of the project are comprehensive and accessible to specialists as well as other relevant audience. This means sharing the research results with potential users. The coordinator of a linked project is also member of the Space@Sea advisory board; this generates the engagement with other relevant H2020 projects. The following target audience is currently identified:  Institutions: Public, private, political institutions as well as other authorities. The support of these institutions is key to the successful implementation and strengthening of the project  Other H2020 projects: Other relevant/related initiatives and projects within the H2020 programme  Scientific community: Researchers working in the same of similar research lines  Industrial companies: Companies from different sectors interested in the working or living at Sea initiatives  Investors: European and international investors and companies interested in investments in this area  Policymakers: Living at sea will in future require new policy and regulations compared to the currently existing ones
Dissemination Objectives. The main aim of the dissemination strategy is a dissemination and exploitation of knowledge amongst the project consortium and knowledge transfer to the interested and relevant stakeholders and citizens. The definition of the goals and purposes of the dissemination activities are essentially related to the engagement and involvement of the relevant stakeholders and to the communication of project results. STORM CLOUDS’ dissemination plan is based upon completion of the following objectives:  Internal communication, to provide members of the consortium the necessary messages and appropriate dissemination tactics to easily portray the project’s purpose, aims and benefits and to implement the dissemination plan. Creating a strong internal project understanding of how the dissemination activities listed in this deliverable can be used to support overall project STORM CLOUDS Description of Work objectives. Internal communication will itself be conducted via email, through the platform and the activities will consist in teleconferences, face-to-face meetings and workshops.  External Awareness and demonstration, creating a set of activities for general and specialised audiences to provide information about the project, engaging stakeholders (at both local and Pan-European levels). These will be developed according to the level of dissemination from simple activities, from engagement activities at the community’s level to specialised workshops, conferences and events to a more expert audience. Generating positive media coverage at local, national, European and Pan-European levels, is an essential element for this goal, as well as the creation of digital material provided in the website, blogs and social network.  Education, the goal is to educate the target audience about the project work and results. Creating collaboration synergies with related projects in order to create a valuable network to be used for joint-dissemination purposes and test interoperability  Dissemination for action by underlining the changes proposed by the project work and stimulating its implementation by engaging the audience with influence power to bring real changes. Dissemination Objectives. The key objectives of the EU and AFD in terms of dissemination and public communication are to: Ensure wide diffusion of Programme purpose, results, toolkit and implementation plan; Consolidate Programme purpose and results into user friendly outputs tailored to target audiences and stakeholders; Involve the different stakeholders in the reform and the change of paradigm from an investment-based approach to a service-based approach; Raise awareness of the key challenges and issues that needs to be tackled in the water and wastewater sector within this Programme; Offer support and facilitate the dialogue between the RWE and the Ministry of Energy and Water; Ensure that the local population is aware of the role and achievements of the WE; Strengthen the visibility of the EU actions in the water and wastewater sector and the implemented activities within this Programme; Consolidate Programme and communication best practices based on inputs from different national or regional initiatives; Strengthen the collaboration and ties with stakeholders at the European and Lebanese local levels to share information and exploit synergies and additional dissemination channels accordingly.
