Deployment Services. 7.1.2 The Service Provider must comply with all requirements for the conduct of Acceptance Testing during the Implementation Period, as set out in Schedule 2 - Attachment B - Register ICT Service Requirements, Schedule 6 – Implementation and Transition Requirements and clause 25, to determine whether the Service Provider has met the Acceptance Criteria.

Deployment Services. Rogers will provide either on-site or remote hardware installation support. The in- vehicle hardware is plug-and-play and can be installed in minutes with no previous experience. Rogers will also create the Geotab database, including the set up all vehicles therein and required user accounts. After several days of vehicle data has been recorded, Contractor will provide on-site or remote initial training (note: availability of on-site training is price package dependent). After initial training is complete a follow up training schedule will be created to provide further remote training and system overview.

Insight has significant experience in deploying Apple devices into Enterprise environments, and we have a range of services that can help Institutions to ensure they have the most successful experiences when deploying devices at scale. We have a range of specialist engineers who can help in configuring and installing devices on site where required. This can include the installation of additional wired network access points, or upgrades to the wireless network, in order to ensure good, high speed connection to the campus network. Insight is a Cisco Gold Partner, as well as holding a range of accreditations with other network vendors, we have the capability to ensure that your network is configured in the best way to support your Apple devices. Configuration and Implementation Support Insight operate our own Configuration Centre, where Insight technical staff can undertake a number of preparatory services on all hardware items that we ship to customers. Integration services are all managed under our quality policy, as well as in line with our environmental and information security policies. The environment is protected against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and all Integration Centre staff are trained to at least NVQ Level 3 in IT. There are a number of different deployment models that can be used for both Mac and iOS. Insight have the knowledge and experience to be able to consult with you on what the most appropriate deployment model is for your Institution. Both macOS and iOS allow a “Zero-Touch” deployment whereby the Institution’s IT team do not need to be directly involved with deploying devices, whether it be one device or several thousand that are being deployed at the same time. A number of potential Zero-Touch deployment models are illustrated below. Zero-touch iOS configuration iOS Zero-Touch Model: Option 1 For kiosk-type devices, which will be configured with a standard loadset and which will not be allocated to an individual user we can use Apple Configurator to streamline enrolment en mass into your MDM via DEP and then provision the device using your MDM server. iOS Zero-Touch Model: Option 2 For personalised devices, which will be allocated to an individual user, the preferred approach is to have the user undertake setup themselves, as this has shown to result in a user that is more invested in the success of the deployment.
