Dietician. NUTRITIONIST - a licensed dietician-nutritionist performing within the scope of such licensure. Where there is no licensure law, the dietician-nutritionist must be certified by the appropriate professional body.
Dietician. Registered dietician services up to two visits per patient per condition per year and obesity management.
Dietician. The Employer agrees to contribute 100% of the billed premiums towards coverage of the eligible NP in the active employ of the Employer under the current group life insurance plan currently in effect. Such insurance shall include benefits for accidental death and dismemberment in the principal amount equal to the amount of the Group Life Insurance to which the NP is entitled. The Employer also agrees to contribute 100% of the billed premiums toward Dependent Life Insurance (spouse $5,000 and children $2500).
Dietician. The insurance will reimburse necessary and reasonable costs for up to ten consultations per diagnosis, by a dietician following referral by a physician. Up to ten consultations will be paid for in the case of diagnoses that have a medical link. The treatment must be approved and arranged by Euro Accident’s Medical Call Center.
Dietician. Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dieticians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by Healthe Care.
Dietician. (i) For the purposes of payment of salary under Table 1 – Rates of Pay, of Part B, Monetary Rates, a dietician shall be graded in accordance with the following minimum levels based on his/her qualifications:
(a) Bachelor's Degree (3-year course) with post-graduate diploma and no experience – 1st year of scale.
(b) Bachelor's Degree with honours (4-year course) with post-graduate diploma and no experience - 2nd year of scale.
(c) Master's Degree in nutrition and dietetics and no experience - 3rd year of scale.
(d) Degree of Doctor of Philosophy with either post-graduate diploma or Master's Degree in nutrition and dietetics and no experience - 4th year of scale. Provided that such higher qualification has been obtained in subjects relevant to nutrition and dietetics practice.
(ii) Once graded under paragraph (a) above, an employee shall proceed up the scale based upon the following:
(a) to the next year of the scale for each completed year of service under this agreement with any employer; and
(b) one further year of the scale for each completed year of service in nutrition/dietetics, otherwise than as above, subject to the approval of the Private Hospitals Association of New South Wales Inc.
(iii) A dietician can be promoted from the General Scale to Grade 1 based on the following:
(a) completion of 12 months' service on the maximum rate of the general scale; and
(b) agreement from the private hospital that the quality of the employee concerned and the skills and responsibilities exercised by the employee in the performance of his or her duties are such as to warrant promotion.
Dietician. 6.2.1 For the purposes of payment of salary under Table 1 – Rates of Pay, of Part B, Monetary Rates, a dietician shall be graded in accordance with the following minimum levels based on his/her qualifications:
(a) Bachelor's Degree (3-year course) with post-graduate diploma and no experience – 1st year of scale.
(b) Bachelor's Degree with honours (4-year course) with post-graduate diploma and no experience - 2nd year of scale.
(c) Master's Degree in nutrition and dietetics and no experience - 3rd year of scale.
(d) Degree of Doctor of Philosophy with either post-graduate diploma or Master's Degree in nutrition and dietetics and no experience - 4th year of scale. Provided that such higher qualification has been obtained in subjects relevant to nutrition and dietetics practice.
6.2.2 Once graded under paragraph 6.4.1, an employee shall proceed up the scale based upon the following
(a) to the next year of the scale for each completed year of service under this Agreement with any employer; and
(b) one further year of the scale for each completed year of service in nutrition/dietetics, otherwise than as above, subject to the approval of the Private Hospitals Association of New South Wales Inc.
6.2.3 A dietitian can be promoted from the General Scale to Grade 1 based on the following
(a) completion of 12 months' service on the maximum rate of the general scale; and
(b) agreement from the private hospital that the quality of the employee concerned and the skills and responsibilities exercised by the employee in the performance of his or her duties are such as to warrant promotion.
Dietician. Contractor shall provide a minimum of .5 FTE for a Dietician position. Person in this position will provide the following services:
a. Assess Individual nutritional needs;
b. Coordinate pre-admission person centered evaluation related to the Individual’s dietary habits, goals and preferences;
c. Work with facility RN or other involved medical professionals to evaluate appropriate diet concerns in relation to Individual health care needs;
d. Develop and implement Individual nutrition plans which address health related concerns such as weight loss, strength-building, cholesterol, or diabetes management;
e. Monitor dietary intake and results and adjust nutrition plans accordingly; and
f. Provide Individual and staff education around nutrition.
Dietician. For the purposes of payment of salary under Table 1 – Rates of Pay, of Part B, Monetary Rates, a dietician shall be graded in accordance with the following minimum levels based on his/her qualifications:
Dietician. If home visits are required, the service will offer 1 initial home visit, followed by telephone support and 1 more home visit on ‘discharge’.
