Donating Blood Sample Clauses

Donating BloodEmployees shall be permitted reasonable time off with pay to give blood for drives conducted on worksite provided such time off does not interfere with the normal flow of work.
Donating BloodAn employee shall be granted leave of absence with pay for one (1) hour for the purpose of donating blood at a blood donor’s clinic or health laboratory, subject to provision of documentary proof of such action.
Donating Blood. Where operational requirements permit, one-half (1/2) day leave with pay shall be granted for donating blood at the Blood Donor’s Clinic or Health Laboratory.
Donating BloodEmployees who are absent for the purpose of donating blood during working hours, may take paid leave for up to two hours per occasion, subject to a maximum of four attendances per year. The absences should occur as close as possible to the beginning or end of the employee’s normal working hours and should be on a day convenient to the University. Notice of intended absence must be given, and proof of attendances may be required.
Donating BloodLeave of absence with pay may be granted for the purpose of donating blood, not to exceed two (2) hours.
Donating BloodThe Agency has determined that, if it does not interfere with mission requirements, employees who donate blood to the Red Cross or other recognized Blood Banks, which the Agency sponsored, will be excused from duty upon request, for a period of not more than four (4) hours, including travel, and any necessary recovery time following the donation. The Agency has determined that, if it does not interfere with mission requirements, additional excused absence will be granted, upon request, to employees who donate of other blood products (such as platelets) through an Agency Program, consistent with mission requirement.
Donating BloodPersonal leave may be taken by full time employees for the purpose of donating blood and is limited to 2.5 hrs for each occasion to a maximum of two occasions per annum. This is subject to the full time employee having made every attempt to arrange an appointment to donate outside of work hours, and providing proof of attendance.
Donating Blood. PSR recognises the importance of and supports Employees in the practice of blood donation. Employees donating blood during working hours are not required to complete a leave application or to take flex leave, but are regarded as being on duty for the period of their absence.
Donating Blood. Bargaining unit employees shall be released from duty without loss of pay for up to three (3) hours to donate blood.
