Donating Blood. Employees shall be permitted reasonable time off with pay to give blood for drives conducted on worksite provided such time off does not interfere with the normal flow of work.

Donating Blood. An employee shall be granted leave of absence with pay for one (1) hour for the purpose of donating blood at a blood donor’s clinic or health laboratory, subject to provision of documentary proof of such action.
Donating Blood. Where operational requirements permit, one-half (1/2) day leave with pay shall be granted for donating blood at the Blood Donor’s Clinic or Health Laboratory.

The Agency has determined that, if it does not interfere with mission requirements, additional excused absence will be granted, upon request, to employees who donate of other blood products (such as platelets) through an Agency Program, consistent with mission requirement.
