Doors and Locks. The Employer shall ensure that all classroom entry points are lockable, and the teachers and other appropriate staff have a key. All classroom doors shall be lockable from the inside and outside of the classroom.

Doors and Locks. Due to natural fluctuations of humidity and the use of forced air furnaces, showers, and dishwashers, interior doors may occasionally require minor adjustments. Interior bi-fold doors sometimes stick or warp due to humidity changes. Apply a silicone lubricant to the tracks to minimize this inconvenience. If a door will not latch because of minor settling, you can correct this by making a new opening in the jamb for the latch plate (remortising) and raising or lowering the plate accordingly. You can remedy a squeaky door hinge by removing the hinge pin and applying a silicone lubricant to it. Avoid using oil, as it can gum up or attract dirt. Graphite works well as a lubricant but can create a xxxx smudge on the door or floor covering beneath the hinge if too much is applied.

Operator will keep doors, windows, and other means of entry to the Building secure during non-operating hours. Upon termination of this Agreement, Operator will surrender all keys to the Building. The City shall be responsible for repairs due to vandalism on the exterior of the building, with the exception of vandalism to any windows installed by Operator.
