Doors and Locks Sample Clauses

The 'Doors and Locks' clause sets out the requirements and responsibilities regarding the use, maintenance, and security of doors and locks within a property. Typically, it specifies who is responsible for providing and repairing locks, how keys are managed, and any restrictions on changing locks or duplicating keys. For example, it may require tenants to obtain landlord approval before altering locks or obligate the landlord to ensure all doors have functioning locks at the start of a lease. This clause helps ensure the security of the premises and clarifies the parties' obligations, thereby reducing disputes over access and safety.
