E-MAIL USE. UPTE designated employee representatives may use their University e-mail account for the purpose of conducting union business which is specifically authorized by Article 10 - Grievance Procedure. Such use shall also conform to and be in accordance with applicable University/Laboratory policy regarding electronic mail/electronic communications.
E-MAIL USE. When sending and receiving e-mail communications using an assigned technology device, students must adhere to the following rules: • Use appropriate language. • Refrain from transmitting any language or other material that is profane, lewd, obscene, abusive, bullying, or offensive to others. • Do not send mass or chain e-mails, or spam e-mails. • Do not engage in private chatting or e-mailing during class without express permission from the teacher. All e-mail sent and received on a technology device belonging to the School is subject to inspection by the School at any time.
E-MAIL USE. As with union communications posted on bulletin boards, e-mail content shall be in good taste, impersonal in nature and limited to the legitimate business of the union. Further, the parties agree that time spent by County employees generating or responding to union notices or queries on the County e-mail system will be kept to a minimum. Should the union or the County have concerns about the length or content of specific communications they will contact the County Director of Labor Relations.
E-MAIL USE. Customers may receive announcements from time to time from Moundville via e-mail regarding various aspects of the Service, including, without limitation, notices of feature upgrades or changes, Service- affecting issues or events, or special offers for Service users from Moundville distribution partners or other parties. Sending mass, unsolicited e-mail is prohibited. Moundville reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether such e-mail constitutes unsolicited messages or transmission. Sending unsolicited e-mail advertising a service or Website, newsgroup, etc. located or hosted within the Service domain space or address space, or service otherwise associated with the Service is also prohibited, regardless of e-mail point of origin. Additionally, using a Moundville e-mail address or website address to collect responses from unsolicited e-mail is prohibited. Customers may not, through action or inaction, allow the transmission of files that contain a virus or corrupted data. To protect our Customers and our network, Moundville may suspend and/or cancel Customer’s account if we believe that Customer is transmitting a virus to other Internet users or our network. Moundville may also immediately terminate any account which it determines, in its sole discretion, is transmitting or is otherwise connected with any ‘spam” or other unsolicited bulk e-mail. If actual damages cannot be reasonably calculated or quantified, Moundville may seek liquidated damages of five dollars ($5.00) for each piece of “spam” or unsolicited bulk e-mail transmitted from or otherwise connected with your account. Moundville is not responsible for deleting or forwarding any e-mail sent to the wrong e-mail address by you or by someone else trying to send e-mail to you. Moundville is also not responsible for forwarding e-mail sent to any account that has been suspended or terminated. This e-mail will be returned to the sender, ignored, deleted, or stored temporarily, at Moundville’s sole discretion. In the event that Moundville believes, in its sole discretion, that any Customer name, account name or e-mail address (collectively, an "identifier") on the Service may be used for, or is being used for, any misleading, fraudulent or other improper or illegal purpose, Moundville (i) reserves the right to block access to and prevent the use of any of these identifiers and (ii) may at any time require any Customer to change his or her identifier.
