Effect of Leave of Absence on Sick Leave Accrual. The granting of any leave of absence without pay exceeding fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days shall cause the employee's normal rate of sick leave accumulation to be extended by the number of calendar days for which such leave of absence has been granted less the first fifteen (15) calendar days of such leave.
