Employee Advancement. Once a course has been approved, an advance may be made to the employee of one-fourth (1/4) the cost of tuition and books, if requested. The remainder of the course reimbursement will be paid to the employee upon successful completion of the course as determined by the department head as part of the course approval.

Employee Advancement. How does an employee progress to a higher “wage level”? To progress to a higher wage level, an employee must obtain additional skills and/or be assessed at a higher level of performance. Assessment of an employees‟ performance will be conducted in accordance with, Clause 6.8 Performance Review - Will the Company review an employees‟ performance? An employee may request to be re-assessed in addition to the provisions of Clause 6.8 if the employee can demonstrate and the Company recognises a genuine increase in the employees‟ qualifications, skill and performance. To be eligible to progress to a higher “Wage Level” the Company must have a need for an employee with the additional skills and a position available for the employee to progress too.
Employee Advancement. 26.01 In the event a full-time employee’s status is changed to part-time, the employee’s part-time seniority date will be based on the length of their continuous full- time employment with their Employer in the store since the employee’s most recent date of hire.
