Employee Contract. Any contract between the BOARD and an individual employee with the bargaining unit shall be expressly subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

Labour relations between the Employee and the Employer shall be governed by an employment contract concluded in writing in accordance with the laws and other labour regulations. Neither party to the contract of employment shall be liable to the obligations of the other party towards third Parties. The persons hired shall be interviewed by the Trade Union Committee.

All individual certificated employee contracts shall be subject to and consistent with Washington State Laws, Washington State Administrative Code and terms and conditions of this Contract. If any individual certificated employee contract contains any language inconsistent with this Contract, this Contract during its duration shall be controlling.
