Employment Guarantee. The Council agrees to maintain appropriate teaching staffing standards in line with its commitment to raising attainment and will make every effort to ensure that no permanent teaching staff will be made compulsorily redundant during the period of the agreement.
Employment Guarantee. Davco guarantees all positions for the duration of the Agreement, except for lawful terminations of employment and voluntary or compulsory redundancies.
Employment Guarantee. A xxxxxxxxx, who reports to work on the first or last day and appears competent at the beginning of the shift, shall receive one (1) full day's pay unless he or she quits within the period and unless he/she has been laid off for absenteeism. On any day, other than the first or last day, when a xxxxxxxxx is scheduled to work and repo1is to work is available and appears competent and is willing to work at the beginning of the shift, without having been notified not to report, on the day prior to commencement of the work, he or she shall be entitled to employment or pay for at least two (2) hours, unless he or she quits within the two (2) hour period. If the xxxxxxxxx works any time beyond, or is requested to remain on the job beyond the first two (2) hours, he or she shall be entitled to employment or pay for at least four (4) hours, unless he or she quits within the four (4) hour period. Employment Guarantee. The parties hereby agree that, in connection with the settlement of the Collective Agreement of January 16, 1999, (the "Ratification Date"), all full-time employees of the bargaining unit employed as of the Ratification Date will be guaranteed continued employment without lay- off until age 65 or retirement, whichever occurs first, unless they are dismissed for just cause or poor performance based on the normal disciplinary procedure (the "Employment Guarantee"). Any future full-time positions in the bargaining unit made available as a result of retirement, resignation, dismissal or promotions may or may not be filled at the discretion of the Company. If the Company elects to fill a full-time vacancy, it will do so in accordance with the terms of the Collective Agreement. However, it is understood and agreed that the Company shall be required to maintain the current complement of six (6) full-time ice crew positions at Air Canada Centre and in the event an ice crew position becomes vacant it shall be filled in accordance with the job posting provisions of the Collective Agreement. All full-time employees hired into the bargaining unit after the Effective Date will not be included in the Employment Guarantee. However, nothing in this agreement shall prelude the Company from exercising its discretion to include additional employees in the Employment Guarantee. The following are included in the Employment Guarantee:
Employment Guarantee. Article 31
(a) (Guaranteed Employment) of the CBA shall be modified to provide in its entirety that during the Term, each Artist shall be offered employment for no fewer than twelve (12) weeks at a rate of pay equal to 60% (74% for apprentices, 67% for first year corps, and 63% for second year corps) of the 2019-20 regular weekly base pay for the category the Artist currently holds (the “Guaranteed Weeks”). Payment for the Guaranteed Weeks shall be made in accordance with the schedule set forth in paragraph 5 below.
Employment Guarantee. Once accepted for summer school employment, a teacher shall be employed professionally for the period specified at the agreed compensation.
Employment Guarantee. (a) Article 31(a) (Guaranteed Employment) of the CBA shall be modified to provide that: (a) during the first year of the Term each Dancer shall be offered employment for no fewer than thirty (30) weeks of employment at a rate of pay equal to the 2019-20 regular weekly base pay for the category the Dancer currently holds and each Stage Manager shall be offered employment for no fewer than thirty-one
Employment Guarantee. For a certain period following the Closing Date to be agreed among the parties to this Agreement in writing, with respect to each Transferred Employee who is not an executive with an employment contract with MSK or a temporary employee/worker immediately prior to Closing, the Buyer shall not (i) terminate the engagement or employment of any Transferred Employee or take any adverse measures against any such Transferred Employee, including termination, suspension or demotion, other than for just cause as permitted under the Labor Standards Act of Korea (it being understood that the Buyer shall not engage in compulsory layoffs of Transferred Employees for such period); (ii) modify any terms of contract, engagement or employment existing as of the Closing Date in a manner adverse to the interests of any Transferred Employees, other than for just cause; (iii) shut-down or close any factory or facility in which the Transferred Employees provide services or (iv) transfer the employment of any Transferred Employee to any Affiliate of the Buyer without such Transferred Employee’s consent.
Employment Guarantee. All ADMINISTRATORS covered by this contract are hereby guaranteed employment for the duration of the Individual Contract except under the following conditions:
1. ADMINISTRATOR'S employment is terminated under the provisions of Sections Q, R, or S, and
2. District is required to close school down due to lack of financial support.
Employment Guarantee. Per contract year, OBT shall engage at least one (1) Stage Manager on a guaranteed employment basis for not less than thirty-six (36) weeks of employment, including Nutcracker, and at least one (1) Assistant Stage Manager for no less than twenty-four (24) weeks. A Stage Manager must be employed before an Assistant Stage Manager can be hired. OBT will engage at least one (1) Stage Manager for any week in which the Dancers are on contract.
