Employee Review and Response. The employee shall be given an opportunity to review the documents or materials upon which the proposed disciplinary action is based. Within ten (10) business days after receipt of the written notice, the employee shall have the right to respond to the Department Director, orally or in writing, concerning the proposed action. Failure to respond within the time specified may result in the employee's waiver of their pre-disciplinary procedural rights. By mutual agreement, the specified time period may be extended.

Employee Review and Response. Employee will be provided with a copy of his/her performance evaluation twenty-four (24) hours prior to the evaluation interview. Employees have the right to respond in writing to the evaluation report should they so desire. Said responses should be submitted to the reviewer no later than thirty (30) days after the evaluation interview. Contents of an employee’s performance evaluation are not subject to the grievance procedure.
