EMPLOYER DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY i. Under no circumstances will any Employee affected by alcohol and/or affected by any other drug be permitted to work or operate any equipment on the Employer’s projects, sites, locations or work places. ii. If an Employee affected by alcohol or any other drug is sent home to recover, they will not be paid for the lost time. Attending for work under the influence of alcohol and/or affected by any drug may be cause for disciplinary action or termination of employment. iii. Further, the parties agree that no alcohol and/or drugs will be permitted on the Employer’s projects and that Employees shall not consume any alcohol during lunch, rest or crib breaks.

EMPLOYER DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY. The Employer takes seriously its obligation to protect Employee health and well being. The Employer will not tolerate substance abuse and may from time to time conduct random drug and alcohol testing. If an Employee is found to be impaired at work it will result in disciplinary action and/or termination of their employment. When taking prescription drugs or controlled substances an Employee must check with their medical practitioner and inform the Employer if there is a likelihood the medication may impair their ability to safely perform their duties. If the Employer feels an Employee’s ability is impaired, the Employer may direct the Employee to go home, and/or to attend a medical practitioner nominated by us for a full medical examination which may include a drug and alcohol test.

  • Drug and Alcohol Policy 67.1 The Parties agree to apply the Drug and Alcohol Management Program (as amended from time to time) contained in Appendix G. 67.2 The Employer may refer an Employee affected by drugs or alcohol to the services provided by Incolink.

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE WORKPLACE 20.1 All employees must report to work in a condition fit to perform their assigned duties unimpaired by alcohol or drugs.

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING Employees may be tested for drugs and/or alcohol pursuant to the provisions of the Employer's Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which is attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement as if more fully set forth herein.

  • Alcohol Policy Where contractually bound, the employer will apply the Drug and Alcohol Management Program (DAMP) as contained at Appendix M.

  • Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace City reserves the right to deny access to, or require Contractor to remove from, City facilities personnel of any Contractor or subcontractor who City has reasonable grounds to believe has engaged in alcohol abuse or illegal drug activity which in any way impairs City's ability to maintain safe work facilities or to protect the health and well-being of City employees and the general public. City shall have the right of final approval for the entry or re-entry of any such person previously denied access to, or removed from, City facilities. Illegal drug activity means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, purchasing, using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or other controlled substances for which the individual lacks a valid prescription. Alcohol abuse means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, or using alcoholic beverages, or being under the influence of alcohol.

  • Retiree Health Insurance Retired members of the Department receiving, or to receive City of Lincoln monthly pension checks, may participate in the group comprehensive health care plan for active City employees, provided that each retiree so desiring will execute the required forms in a timely fashion, and further provided that each retiree will be required to pay the full monthly cost at the current rates subject to any rate increases which may occur from time to time. Such payment will be made by payroll deduction from pension checks, or by direct payment in the case of an early retiree.

  • Drugs and Alcohol The Pupil may be given the opportunity to provide a biological sample under medical supervision if involvement with drugs is suspected, or a sample of breath to test for alcohol consumed in breach of School rules or policy. A sample or test in these circumstances will not form part of the Pupil's permanent medical record.

  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Grantee certifies that it is in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), Public Law Xx. 000-000, 00 XXX Parts 160, 162 and 164, and the Social Security Act, 42 USC 1320d-2 through 1320d-7, in that it may not use or disclose protected health information other than as permitted or required by law and agrees to use appropriate safeguards to prevent use or disclosure of the protected health information. Grantee shall maintain, for a minimum of six (6) years, all protected health information.
