Employer Requests. Regardless of an employee’s work schedule assignment, the Employer may have to require occasional changes in work schedules to accommodate mission and customer requirements. The Employer must make every attempt to notify employees at least five (5) workdays in advance. The Employer may not have to meet the five-day criteria in order to accommodate abnormal, unusual, or unforeseen mission and customer requirements, and where it would otherwise be handicapped in carrying out its mission or where costs would be substantially increased. The Union will be given the opportunity to I&I bargain over any management directed change of employee work schedules. The Employer retains the right to direct the employee to work overtime in accordance with Article 32.

  • Employer Requested Leave Leave of absence without loss of pay, seniority and all benefits shall be granted to employees whenever the Employer requires an employee to take designated courses and/or examinations. The cost of the course and/or any examination fee and reasonable expenses incurred in taking the course and/or examination shall be paid by the Employer.

  • Employer Notice If the Employer creates a new position, it shall give written notice to the Union classification department of the job classification/wage level it has assigned to that position, pursuant to Article 61 - Wage Schedules and shall provide a copy of the new job description to the Union, pursuant to Article 23 – Job Descriptions.

  • Employer Grievance The Employer may institute a grievance by delivering the same in writing to the President of the Local Union and the President shall answer such grievance in writing within five working (5) days. If the answer is not acceptable to the Employer, the Employer may, within ten (10) working days from the day the President gives her answer, give ten (10) working days notice to the President of the Local Union of its intention to refer the dispute to arbitration.

  • Leave Requests All requests for leaves of absence must be in writing.

  • Service Requests In support of services outlined in this Agreement, the Service Provider will respond to service related incidents and/or requests submitted by the Customer within the following time frames:  0-8 hours (during business hours) for issues classified as High priority.  Within 48 hours for issues classified as Medium priority.  Within 5 working days for issues classified as Low priority. Remote assistance will be provided in-line with the above timescales dependent on the priority of the support request.
