Employment Targets. The University will use its best endeavours to achieve the Indigenous staff employment targets below. 31 March 2013 31 March 2014 31 March 2015 31 March 2016 FTE Indigenous Staff 35 41 47 54 Should it be apparent to the University or the NTEU at any stage that the 31 March 2016 target may not be met, a meeting of the Indigenous Employment Working Party will convene. This meeting is to be held within one month of a request unless otherwise agreed between the University and the NTEU, with a view to determining what measures need to be taken to ensure that the 31 March 2016 target will be met. The full implementation of any measures so agreed by the Working Party will be taken as compliance with the Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander employment strategy. The University will consult with the NTEU when developing its 3 year Indigenous Employment Strategy for the period beyond 2016.

Employment Targets. 3.4.1 DBCMI shall, and in keeping with the Hiring Priorities set out in clause 3.2, use best efforts to ensure that: a. employment of NWT Residents, including employment by Contractors, will be at least 40% of the total employment throughout Construction; b. employment of NWT Residents, including employment by Contractors, will be at least 60% of the total employment on an annual basis throughout Operations; and c. employment of NWT Residents, including employment by Contractors, will be at least 60% of the total employment on an annual basis throughout Closure. 3.4.2 Achieving the hiring targets undertaken by DBCMI in this Agreement is subject to the availability of NWT Residents with the required skills, training and experience. 3.4.3 DBCMI will take all reasonable steps, while acting in good faith, to work towards a Project workforce that will consist primarily of those individuals identified in clause 3.2.a, b, c and d.
Employment Targets. In order to achieve this goal, JCU will set a key performance indicator that at least 4.5% of staff or at least 75 FTE will be Australian Aboriginal and/or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander peoples by 30 June 2015. The employment of Australian Aboriginal and/or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander peoples will be proportionate between Academic and Professional and Technical positions and located proportionately across JCU. The progress towards these goals will be tabled and discussed at the JCC meetings in June and December each year.
Employment Targets. The Employment Committee shall establish annual employment targets and relevant metrics and shall conduct an annual review of the achievement by the Cree Parties and Opinaca of the prior Year’s employment targets and the effectiveness of the metrics. The Employment Committee shall forward such review and any recommendation related thereto to the Collaboration Committee. Subject to Opinaca’s employment needs, the annual employment targets shall be established, measured and reviewed based on the following: a) The unemployment rate in the Cree communities; b) The availability of a qualified Cree workforce; and c) Other projects and employment opportunities available to the Cree.

  • Employment Categories (a) Employees under this Agreement will be employed in one of the following categories: (i) full-time; (ii) part time; or (iii) casual. (b) At the time of engagement an employer will inform each employee whether they are employed on a full-time, part time or casual basis. An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties that are within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training, consistent with the respective classification.

  • Pre-Employment Testing Nothing in this Contract shall limit the right of the City to conduct any tests it may deem appropriate for persons seeking employment prior to their date of hire. The parties agree that the Lodge has no role or responsibility with regard to any such pre-employment testing.

  • Employment Period The Company hereby agrees to continue the Executive in its employ, and the Executive hereby agrees to remain in the employ of the Company subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, for the period commencing on the Effective Date and ending on the third anniversary of such date (the "Employment Period").

  • Outside Employment Employees may engage in other employment outside of their State working hours so long as the outside employment does not involve a conflict of interest with their State employment. Whenever it appears that any such outside employment might constitute a conflict of interest, the employee is expected to consult with his/her appointing authority or other appropriate agency representative prior to engaging in such outside employment. Employees of agencies where there are established procedures concerning outside employment for the purpose of insuring compliance with specific statutory restrictions on outside employment are expected to comply with such procedures.

  • Employment Termination 12.1 Subject to the terms and conditions of the National Building and Construction Industry Award 2000, it is agreed that it is the company’s prerogative to determine the order of selection of employees for employment or retrenchment subject always to the following: a) All relevant legislation governing unfair dismissal, discrimination, etc. will be observed; b) Voluntary terminations will be encouraged as a first step; c) The seniority of employees – within classifications, experience or skills held – will be considered by the company in selecting employees for retrenchment; d) The Grievance Procedures set out in Clause 9 of this Agreement will apply in the event of any concerns arising regarding retrenchments.
