End of Pregnancy Leave. (a) The Pregnancy Leave of an Employee who is not entitled to take Parental Leave under Article shall end seventeen (17)weeks after the Pregnancy Leave began. The Pregnancy Leave of an Employee who is not entitled to take Parental Leave shall end on the later of the day that is seventeen (17)weeks after the Pregnancy Leave began or the day that is six (6) weeks after the birth, stillbirth or miscarriage. In the case of stillbirth or miscarriage, the Employeewill also be entitled to sick leave coverage, under Article and other salary insurance coverage after the date the pregnancy ends if the Employee cannot return to full-time work for medical reasons. If an Employeeon Pregnancy Leave wishes to take less than seventeen (17)weeks‘ Pregnancy Leave, the Employee shall give written notice to the Employer of her intention to return to work at least four (4)weeks prior to her expected date of return. Post-Natal Leave On the occasion of the birth of a child, the child’s parent who is not taking a Pregnancy Leave shall be entitled to a leave with full salary and benefits, and without loss of of up to five (5) days, to be taken at the discretion of the Employeewithin four (4) weeks of the birth.   • Pregnancy Leave (a) Pregnancy leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, except where amended in this provision.

  • Pregnancy Leave Notice (a) A pregnant Nurse shall provide the Employer with at least four (4) weeks notice of the date the Nurse intends to begin pregnancy leave. Such notice and start date of the leave may be amended:

  • Pregnancy Sick Leave Leave for illness of a Nurse arising out of or associated with a Nurse’s pregnancy prior to the commencement of, or the ending of, pregnancy leave granted in accordance with Article 13.00, may be granted sick leave in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement.

  • Pregnancy Disability Leave A. Leave for pregnancy or childbirth related disability is in addition to any leave granted under FMLA or WFLA.

  • Parental and Pregnancy Disability Leave A. Parental leave will be granted to the employee for the purpose of bonding with their newborn, adoptive or xxxxxx child. Parental leave may extend up to six (6) months, including time covered by the family medical leave, during the first year after the child's birth or placement. Leave beyond the period covered by family medical leave and pregnancy disability may only be denied by the Employer due to operational necessity. Such denial may be grieved beginning at the top internal step of the grievance procedure in Article 30.

  • Pregnancy/Birth Allowance (a) A Nurse entitled to pregnancy leave under the provisions of this Agreement, who provides the Employer with proof that she has applied for, and is eligible to receive employment insurance (E.I.) benefits pursuant to Section 22, Employment Insurance Act, S.C. 1996, c.23, shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the Supplementary Employment Benefit (S.E.B.).

  • Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL) - An employee is eligible for continuation of MPS in accordance with applicable law.
