Employee Notice. After review of the employee’s timely response, if any, the University shall notify the employee of any action to be taken. An effective date of separation shall follow the employee’s timely response or, if no response is provided, shall be at least ten (10) calendar days from the date of issuance of the notice of intention to separate, pursuant to Section C., above.

Employee Notice. 12.4.1 An Employee whose employment is terminated for reasons set out in 12.1.1 shall receive four weeks notice. 12.4.2 In addition to the notice in 12.4.1 hereof, Employees over the age of 45 years of age with not less than 2 years continuous service, shall be entitled to an additional week's notice. 12.4.3 An Employee whose employment is terminated for reasons set out in 12.1.1 hereof, may terminate the employment during the period of notice, and, if so, shall be entitled to the same benefits and payments under this clause had the Employee remained with the Employer until the expiry of such notice. Provided that in such circumstances the Employee shall not be entitled to payment in lieu of notice.

Employee Notice. In the interest of providing up-to-date information to deal with emergencies, overtime assignments, administration of benefits, etc., employees shall immediately notify their department or segment supervisor, in writing, of any changes in contact information (name, address, and telephone number). Employees shall also immediately notify University Human Resources, in writing, of any changes in the contact information as well as changes in the employee’s marital status and record of immediate family. University Human Resources shall then notify the Local Union President of such changes.
