An employee on Pregnancy. Parental Leave shall continue to be entitled to all rights, benefits and privileges which would have been received had the employee been actively employed, including, but not limited to: accumulation of credit for sick leave, seniority, and benefits.
An employee on Pregnancy. Parental Leave shall not apply for payment from the sick leave plan or account, during the leave.
An employee on Pregnancy. Short-term Parental Leave shall continue to be entitled to all rights, benefits and privileges which would have been received had the employee been actively employed.
An employee on Pregnancy. Parental leave will accumulate seniority in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.
An employee on Pregnancy. Adoption or Parental Leave shall remain a member of the bargaining unit. Leave granted under this article shall be counted for the calculation of continuous employment for the purpose of calculating severance pay and pay increment purposes.
An employee on Pregnancy or Parental Leave who provides the Employer with proof that the Employee has applied for and is eligible to receive Employment Insurance Benefits shall be entitled to the following benefits for either the pregnancy or parental leave, but not both. The Employee shall receive a benefit equivalent to seventy-five percent (75%) of the Employee’s bi- weekly salary during the Employment Insurance waiting period.
An employee on Pregnancy. Parental Leave shall continue to accrue annual vacation entitlement and seniority provided he/she returns to the employ of the Employer at the end of said leave.
An employee on Pregnancy. Parental leave will accumulate seniority hours in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.
An employee on Pregnancy. Parental leave or Workers' Compensation shall continue to accumulate seniority in accordance with the Employment Standards Act as amended from time to time.
