Enhancement Training. Generic training (mathematics, English, reading comprehension, basic electricity/electronics, typing, computer concepts, etc.) intended to strengthen employees’ skills so as to enhance their ability to qualify for anticipated non- management job openings within the Company. Employees will be advised of approved courses, including home study courses and approved training facilities. Time spent by employees in such training will be outside of scheduled working hours and not paid or considered as time worked for any purpose unless the Company determines it appropriate in specific instances to permit the employees to receive such training during working hours.

Enhancement Training. C-4.2.5.1. Instruction which improves the general skills and proficiency for already qualified personnel (with at least Level 2). Training length for enhancement course varies depending on LDCs. C-4.2.5.1.1. Intermediate (Prerequisite: ILR proficiency Level 2): designed for personnel to increase proficiency to Level 2+. Training length for intermediate course is 18 weeks for Cat I/Cat II languages, and 19 weeks for Cat III/Cat IV languages. C-4.2.5.1.2. Advanced (Prerequisite: ILR proficiency Level 2+): designed for personnel to increase proficiency to Level 3. Training length for advanced course is 18 weeks for Cat I/Cat II languages, and 19 weeks for Cat III/Cat IV languages. C-4.3. Enhancement Training. It is recognised that from time-to-time existing employees may require training in the use of new plant, equipment or systems. Where this is an identified need, there will be full co- operation in undertaking the training, covering the work to allow individuals to be released for training and applying the new skills into practice. Such training will give appropriate emphasis to the relevant safety provisions. Employees will receive written confirmation of any upgrade in status.

  • Master Agreement Training A. The Employer and the Union agree that training for managers, supervisors and union stewards responsible for the day-to-day administration of this Agreement is important. The Union will provide training to current union stewards, and the Employer will provide training to managers and supervisors on this Agreement.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • Cross Training (a) The parties recognize the importance of cross training to ensure that employees are properly trained for backup and for promotions. When the Employer identifies a cross training opportunity the Employer shall provide each regular employee written notification of the cross training opportunity in following with 6.02(a). The Employer undertakes to cross train employees on the basis of seniority and the ability to do the job within a reasonable period of time.

  • Child Support (Applicable if the Party is a natural person, not a corporation or partnership.) Party states that, as of the date the Agreement is signed, he/she:

  • Innovative/Flexible Scheduling Where the Hospital and the Union agree, arrangements regarding Innovative Scheduling/Flexible Scheduling may be entered into between the parties on a local level.   • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Customer Support and Training System Agency will provide support for the CMBHS, including problem tracking and problem resolution. System Agency will provide telephone numbers for Grantees to obtain access to expert assistance for CMBHS-related problem resolution. System Agency will provide initial CMBHS training. Grantee shall provide subsequent ongoing end-user training.

  • Mandatory Training The Department reserves the right to require the Charter School to attend any training related to the responsibilities of a Charter School.
