Evening and Night Shift Premium Sample Clauses

Evening and Night Shift Premium. An employee shall be paid a shift premium for every evening and night shift when one-half or more than one-half of the hours worked fall within the defined evening or night shift. In such cases the shift premium shall be paid for the total number of hours worked. The shift premium shall apply to overtime hours worked during the evening or night shift.

Evening and Night Shift Premium. Effective the date of ratification, a shift premium of two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour will be paid to an Employee for each hour worked between the hours of 1600 and 2400 and a shift premium of two dollars and seventy-five cents ($2.75) per hour will be paid to an Employee for each hour worked between the hours of 2400 and 0800. Effective January 1, 2016, a shift premium of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour will be paid to an Employee for each hour worked between the hours of 1600 and 2400 and a shift premium of three dollars ($3.00) per hour will be paid to an Employee for each hour worked between the hours of 2400 and 0800.

  • Night Shift Differential 1. An employee who works an assigned night shift shall, in addition to his or her regular salary, be paid a night shift differential for each hour actually worked on the assigned night shift.
