Reporting Pay Guarantee. An employee reporting for work on his/her regular schedule of work shall be paid his/her regular rate of pay for the entire period of work, with a minimum of two (2) hours pay.
Reporting Pay Guarantee. If an Employee who is scheduled to work a full shift reports for work on his regular shift, he shall be paid at his regular rate of pay for the entire period worked with a minimum of Three (3) hours pay unless the Employee has received notification at least twelve hours prior to his shift, from his Supervisor that the Employee is not required to report for work.

Employees reporting for work as usual on a regular working day, unless notified by the previous day not to report, and for whom no work at his regular job is available, shall be offered at least four (4) hours’ employment in other work at the Employee’s straight time rate, or at the Employer’s option, will be paid four (4) hours’ pay in lieu of work. This provision shall not apply if the failure to receive the notice was caused by the Employee’s absence on the previous day or if the failure to provide work is caused by reason of a strike or other work stoppage, machinery breakdown, fire, flood, power failure, other like cause or any reason beyond the control of the Employer.

An employee reporting for work on their regular shift and sent home by the employer due to an act of God or some other emergency shall be paid their regular rate of pay for the entire period of work, with a minimum of three and one-half hours pay. Where an employee has accumulated sick leave credits and where the employee must leave work due to personal illness, provided that the employee has been at work for at least one hour, there shall be no deduction from the accumulated sick leave credits for the first half day of absence.
Reporting Pay Guarantee. 14.01 An employee who reports to work on her scheduled shift and is sent home by the Hospital due to lack of available work or an emergency shall be paid her regular rate of pay for all time worked with a minimum guarantee of four (4) hours pay. Where regular duties are not available, the employee shall be required to perform any duties assigned by the Hospital which are within her job description/scope of responsibility and within the bargaining unit.
