Event Timeline. The Denver Veterans Day Festival takes place immediately after the Parade. Vendors must be in place to accommodate the participants of both events. Exceptions must identify prior to event. The festival is patriotic- themed and we ask vendors to participate! Setup: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM (You can set up your booth after 9:30am only if you are walking your supplies in. But if you need to drive supplies in you must to be in/out of Civic Center Park by 9:30 am to clear the Parade route–there WILL be traffic! Vehicles may not be left in the park unless they are pre- approved display vehicles.) Parade: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Festival: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM (People may arrive as early as 10 AM with the Parade) Tear-Down: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Parking and Loading/Unloading The main entrance (if driving heavy supplies or displays in) is off Bannock. You can walk supplies in from any entrance to the park. Bannock and W 14th Avenue, on the southern edge of Civic Center Park, will be closed for the entire day. Vendors can use these streets to load in and load out but once again, we need you moved by 9:30am to clear the parade route. Parking will have to be secured by the vendor at a different location. We will have more information on available parking around the park the day of the event if you need it.
