EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL. A. All excavations must be conducted in compliance with applicable law and regulations and, regardless of depth, must be shored when within the zone of influence from the railroad loading, or when necessary to protect structures, facilities, or personnel. Shoring for excavations must comply with SCRRA “Excavation Support Guidelines.” Any excavations, holes or trenches on SCRRA right-of-way must be covered, guarded and protected when work is not actively prosecuted. When leaving work site areas at night and over weekends, the areas must be secured and left in a condition that will ensure that SCRRA employees and other personnel who may be working or passing through the area are protected from all hazards. All excavations must be backfilled as quickly as practicable.

  • Excavation If any excavation shall be made upon land adjacent to or under the Building, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, license to enter the Premises for the purpose of performing such work as said person shall deem necessary or desirable to preserve and protect the Building from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundations, without any claim for damages or liability against Landlord and without reducing or otherwise affecting Tenant’s obligations under this Lease.

  • Infrastructure Improvements The design, redevelopment and construction and completion of certain infrastructure improvements, including sewer, stormwater, electrical and water main improvements, along with other similar improvements.
