Extended Occasional Teacher. Leave with pay shall be granted in any case where, because of exposure to a communicable disease, an extended occasional teacher is quarantined or otherwise prevented by order of the Regional Medical Officer of Health or designate from attending to his/her duties.

Extended Occasional Teacher. Effective an extended Teacher, other than a retired teacher, be the same salary as a teacher with the same category placement and experience under the Collective Agreement between Limestone District and the Limestone District School Board effective the twentieth (20") consecutive teaching day retroactive to the first day the Occasional Teacher began the assignment, The Occasional Teacher shall continue to be paid accordingto the Salary Grid until the expiration of the assignment. An Extended Occasional Teacher, who is a retired teacher, shall be paid the appropriate category placement with zero (0) years of experience. If circumstances require cancellation of a casual assignment without advance notice, the Occasional Teacher shall be paid for one-half day, and may be assigned professional duties by the principal for one-half day. When a 'school is closed' for a temporary period because of acts of nature or mechanical breakdown, etc., the Extended Occasional Teacher shall be paid for one day. An Extended Occasional Teacher who is scheduled to work shall be paid for a professional activity day provided the Extended Occasional Teacher participates in the scheduled professional activities. A Professional Activity Day shall not interrupt the Extended Occasional Teacher's assignments. Each Occasional Teacher shall receive an Employment and Immigration Canada Record of Employment Form on request.

  • Extended Tours Where the Hospital and the Union agree, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Labour, other arrangements regarding hours of work may be entered into between the parties on a local level with respect to tours beyond the normal or standard work day. In the event Tenant fails to deliver the applicable Option Notice within the time allowed, Landlord shall deliver written notice to Tenant of Tenant's failure to deliver the Option Notice, and Tenant shall then have thirty (30) days from receipt of such notice within which to deliver the Option Notice, if at all, to Landlord. In the event (and only in the event) that, Tenant fails to deliver an Option Notice to Landlord within such thirty (30) days, Tenant shall be considered to have elected not to extend the Term of this Lease and thereafter, Tenant shall have no further right to extend the Term of this Lease. References in this Lease to the "Term" shall include the initial Term of fifteen (15) years and shall, in addition, include the First Extended Term and the Second Extended Term, if applicable.
