Acts of Nature. Unpredictable and verifiable acts of nature (such as catastrophic fire, flood, tornado, earthquake, or other acts of nature of similar intensity) or other unpredictable and verifiable circumstances beyond the control of the unit member which precludes the unit member from reporting to duty.
Acts of Nature. If any of Lessee’s improvements or equipment is destroyed by acts of nature, Lessee may replace them with improvements or equipment of the same general type that meet or exceed the technical specifications of the original equipment, which occupies no more physical space, and consumes no more electrical power. Lessee shall immediately notify State of such items and the date the replacement is completed.
Acts of Nature. In any case where the College, FSA or JFSAA hereto is required to do any act, delays caused by or resulting from Acts of Nature, pandemic, war, civil commotion, fire, flood or other casualty, labor difficulties, shortages of labor, materials or equipment, unusual government regulations, unusually severe weather, or other causes beyond such party’s reasonable control the College, FSA and/or JFSAA have the authority to modify operations of the complex accordingly.
Acts of Nature. (i) An Employee who is unavoidably absent due to a local act of nature over which no one has control may be granted up to three (3) instructional days leave per school year with deduction of sick leave credit(s). An Employee may apply in writing to the Executive Superintendent of Human Resource Services or designate for an increase in the maximum allowable days under this section.
(ii) An Employee who is delayed by local weather conditions but arrives at his/her workplace as soon as possible during the regular instructional hours of that day will not have a sick leave deduction made.
(iii) When a school/job location is closed by the Employer due to climatic conditions, an Employee shall be paid for the equivalent of the assigned day(s) or fraction thereof, provided an Employee is scheduled to work on such a day.

Acts of Nature. Nothing contained herein shall require Port to repair or replace the Premises or the Improvements thereon as a result of damage caused by acts of war, earthquake, tidal wave or other acts of nature, except that this provision shall not affect any obligation to make repairs to the Premises pursuant to Section 17 in the event of any damage or destruction of the Premises.
Acts of Nature. Neither Northwest Folklife nor Merchant will be held liable for an inability to perform its obligations under this Contract due to acts of nature or any other circumstances beyond their control.
Acts of Nature. If for any reason the premises are condemned by any governmental authority, or destroyed through fire, act of God, nature or accident, this rental agreement shall cease and shall terminate as of the date of such condemnation or destruction and Guest hereby waives all claims against Rod & Reel Resort LLC and Owner for any damages suffered by such condemnation or destruction. Rod & Reel Resort LLC and Owner cannot be held liable for any acts of nature or occurrences beyond our control. No rate adjustment will be made. If you are traveling between May and December, please note that this is hurricane season. Rod & Reel Resort LLC and Owner are not required to rebate rent in the event of a voluntary or mandatory evacuation or loss of power or services.
Acts of Nature. This Agreement does not cover systems or appliances that require repair as a result of Acts of Nature.
Acts of Nature. Either party’s failure to perform any part of this Agreement, in whole or in part, shall not be deemed a breach where such failure is attributable to any act of nature, action by governmental authority or any other condition beyond the reasonable control of the party.
