Extended Season Compensation. Coaches and advisors shall be compensated for extended season duty for each day spent in state or higher competition with participants. The extended season includes any state level or higher competition following the section post-season contests and is competition that is not regularly scheduled season competition. The number of assistant coaches that will be paid is based on the MSHSL “official squad” section/state policies. Any program requesting extended season compensation for more coaches than defined by “official squad” needs approval from Athletic Director. For programs not governed by the MSHSL “official squad” the number of coaches/advisors/supervisors paid will be the number deemed by the Athletic or Activities Director as essential and required for those extended season events. Coaches/Advisors will receive 5% of their base plus experience pay for each day of competition in the extended season. If supervisory duties are required in the event of out of town travel on a non-competition day, a coach/advisor/supervisor shall be paid at a rate of $60 per day. Total extended season pay is limited to 20% of base plus experience pay for each coach/advisor/supervisor (supervisory fee is not included in extended season compensation cap).

Extended Season Compensation a. Pay $125 per week for an extended season. This is paid to all head and assistant coaches when their seasons are extended by advancing in post -season play.
Extended Season Compensation. Coaches and advisors shall be compensated for extended season duty for each day spent practicing with participants or in competition with participants. The extended season starts with the first day following the first post-season contest. Coaches and advisors will be compensated at a daily rate of pay calculated as follows: (base pay + experience pay) divided by (# of weeks in season times six (6) days per week). Total extended season pay is limited to 50% of base plus experience pay for each coach/advisor.
Extended Season Compensation. Extended season play will consist of 2 levels - league conference/districts and regional/state competition. The head varsity coach will receive $300 and assistant coach(es) will receive $210 for each level for which his/her team qualifies, provided that any coaches sharing a coaching stipend will receive extended season pay at the same ratio as the stipend division. Further if one athlete qualifies for extended season competition, only the head coach will receive extended season compensation. Athletic trainer will be compensated at the rate equivalent to the head varsity coach for extended season.

Extended Season Compensation. Varsity coaches will qualify for extra compensation if their teams, or individuals on their teams for individual sports, advance past the last regular season contest. The regular season includes the first round of the MHSAA tournament if all teams qualify for the first round.

  • Basic Compensation An employee, at the employee's option, may report to court when subpoenaed or remain on call. If the employee wishes to remain on call, the employee must be able to appear in court not more than one hour after being notified that the employee's appearance is required in court. To appear in court more than an hour after having been notified will void the employee's right to on-call compensation. An employee need not remain at home, but must be available for telephonic notification at a location where the supervisor knows the employee can be reached.
