Factory Acceptance Testing. If the Sale Agreement provides for the pre-testing, such activity shall be carried out by the Seller’s technicians at the Seller’s premises. In the event that the Buyer intends to attend the pre-testing, at its own care and expense, the Buyer shall immediately notify the Seller thereof and in any case before the conclusion of the Sale Agreement, in order to agree on the details of the execution of such activity.
Factory Acceptance Testing. Equipment shall be assembled in system configuration for factory acceptance testing. Rack, simulated Path, Switch Section placement and testing shall be performed to verify that the equipment exceeds the published manufacturer's specification. PathNet shall provide the manufacturer's published testing procedures to Texaco at least two (2) weeks before the scheduled factory acceptance testing is to occur. Texaco shall have the right to review these testing procedures and request procedural modifications if the procedures deviate from industry standards. The results of the factory acceptance tests shall be provided to Texaco.
Factory Acceptance Testing. Company is responsible for the development of the factory acceptance test plan ("FATP") for the Products. The FATP must be submitted to Motorola for review and approval or comments four (4) weeks prior to the planned start of acceptance testing for Products to be delivered to Motorola under this Agreement. Motorola must provide its comments concerning the FATP, if any, within two (2) weeks and the FATP must be approved by both Parties, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, prior to the start of Product factory acceptance testing. The FATP will be a subset of Company's standard product verification testing. Factory acceptance testing will take place at Company's facilities. All Products shall be subjected to factory acceptance testing. Prior to factory acceptance testing, Company shall provide Motorola with a set of pre-FATP engineering release notes.
Factory Acceptance Testing. The factory acceptance test, which occurs in a controlled environment at our offices with the on-site S&B project manager, Operational Staff, and S&B engineers, allows the equipment to be pre-configured and tested prior to shipment to the site. This drastically reduces in-lane configuration allowing the system to be made available to the public in a shortened period of time.

Factory Acceptance Testing. Factory acceptance testing shall be conducted for the HFPS and PPMS provided as part of the Works. The factory acceptance testing shall test the following as a fully connected and integrated system: • System hardware equipment, functionality and performance • System application software functionalitySystem performance • HMI equipment and performance The complete HFPS system, PPMS control system equipment shall be factory tested prior to shipment to Duvha site. The minimum FAT testing and inspection requirements are defined in the standard IEC 62381 1st edition (2006-11). The Employer will determine if any further testing is required in addition to that specified, such as that of any new technologies being used. The Contractor shall prepare a detailed test procedure in preparation for FAT. The proposed test procedure shall be prepared by the Contractor and submitted to the Employer for approval during the detail design stage. The final test procedure shall be prepared by the Contractor and submitted to the Employer for approval at least 28 days prior to the scheduled test date. As a minimum, the proposed FAT procedure identifies the following: • Major test activities • Comprehensive list and description of the individual tests to be performed • How the tests are to be prepared and conducted • Test dates and durations • Checklists - how the test results will be documented • Acceptance criteria • How the identified discrepancies will be processed • Re-testing requirements A Final FAT report shall be prepared by the Contractor that includes the following as a minimum: • Test procedures used during FAT • Detailed test results • Discrepancies identified during the tests • Resolution of the discrepancies • Re-tests conducted and results thereof • FAT certificate The Contractor shall submit the Final FAT Report to the Employer for approval. FAT Completion shall be achieved upon approval of the Final FAT Report by the Employer.
