Fight against terrorism. In accordance with international conventions and with their respective national legislations, the Parties shall cooperate in this field and focus in particular on: — exchange of information on means and methods used to counter terrorism, — exchange of experiences in respect of terrorism prevention, — joint research and studies in the area of terrorism preven- tion.

Fight against terrorism. 1. The Parties reaffirm the importance of the fight against and the prevention of terrorism and agree to work together at bilateral, regional and international level to prevent and combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. 2. The Parties agree that the fight against terrorism must be conducted with full respect for the rule of law and in full conformity with international law including international human rights law, international refugee law and international humanitarian law, the principles of the Charter of the United Nations, and all relevant international counter-terrorism related instruments. 3. The Parties stress the importance of the universal ratification and full implementation of all UN counter-terrorism related conventions and protocols. The Parties agree to continue to promote dialogue on the draft Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism and to cooperate in the implementation of the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy, as well as all relevant UN Security Council resolutions and Council of Europe conventions. The Parties also agree to cooperate to promote international consensus on the prevention of and fight against terrorism.
Fight against terrorism. 1. The Parties reaffirm the importance of the fight against terrorism and, in accordance with international human rights, humanitarian and refugee law, relevant international conventions and instruments, the relevant United Nations resolutions and their respective legislation and regulations, and the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy contained in the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 60/288 of 8 September 2006, agree to cooperate in the prevention and suppression of acts of terrorism. 2. They shall do so in particular: (a) in the framework of full implementation of international conventions and instruments, including all relevant United Nations General Assembly resolutions and United Nations Security Council resolutions; (b) by exchange of information on terrorist groups and their support networks, in accordance with international and national law; (c) by cooperating on the means and methods used to counter terrorism, including in technical fields and training, and by exchange of experience in terrorism prevention and in the area of protection in the fight against terrorism; (d) through exchanges of views on legislative frameworks and best practices, as well as technical and administrative assistance; (e) through exchange of information in accordance with their respective legislation; (f) by technical assistance and training on methods of investigation, information technology, design of protocols on prevention, alerts and effective response to terrorist threats or acts; and (g) through exchanges of views on prevention models related to other illicit activities linked to terrorism, such as money laundering, trafficking of firearms, identity document forgery and human trafficking, among others.
Fight against terrorism. The Parties reiterate their firm condemnation of all acts of terrorism and undertake to combat terrorism through international cooperation, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and international law, relevant conventions and instruments and in particular full implementation of UN Security Council Resolutions 1373 (2001) and 1456 (2003) and other relevant UN resolutions. To this end, the Parties agree to exchange: - information on terrorist groups and their support networks; and -views on means and methods to counter terrorist acts, including in technical fields and training, and experiences in relation to the prevention of terrorism. 1. The Parties consider that the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery, both to State and non-State actors, represents one of the most serious threats to international stability and security. The Parties therefore agree to cooperate and to contribute to countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery through full compliance with and national implementation of their existing obligations under international disarmament and non-proliferation treaties and agreements and other relevant international obligations. The Parties agree that this provision constitutes an essential element of this Agreement. 2. The Parties furthermore agree to cooperate and to contribute to the objective of non proliferation by: -taking steps to sign, ratify or accede to, as appropriate, and fully implement all other relevant international instruments; -the establishment of an effective system of national export controls, controlling the export as well as transit of weapons of mass destruction related goods, including a weapons of mass destruction end-use control on dual use technologies and containing effective sanctions for breaches of export controls. Financial and technical assistance in the area of cooperation to counter the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction will be financed by specific instruments other than those intended for the financing of ACP-EC cooperation. 3. The Parties agree to establish a regular political dialogue that will accompany and consolidate their cooperation in this area. 4. If, after having conducted a strengthened political dialogue, a Party, informed in particular by reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and other relevant multilateral instituti...
Fight against terrorism. The Parties reaffirm the importance of the fight against terrorism and, in accordance with international agreements and their respective laws and regulations, agree to cooperate on the preven­ tion and elimination of terrorist acts. In particular they will cooperate: — in the framework of the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1373 and other UN resolutions, agree­ ments and other international instruments relating to this matter, — by exchanges of information, in accordance with the inter­ national and national laws on terrorist groups and their sup­ port networks, — and by exchanges of views on the means and methods used to counter terrorism, including technical fields and training, and by an exchange of experience concerning the prevention of terrorism.

Fight against terrorism. 1. The Parties will cooperate with regard to the combating of terrorism in implementing the framework and the standards agreed in Article 8. 2. The Parties shall also cooperate in ensuring that any person who participates in the financing, planning, preparation or perpetration of terrorist acts or in support of terrorist acts, is brought to justice. The Parties agree that the fight against terrorism shall be done in compliance with relevant United Nations resolutions while respecting the sovereignty of the Parties, due process, human rights and fundamental freedoms. 3. The Parties agree to cooperate in the prevention and suppression of acts of terrorism by means of police and judicial cooperation. 4. The Parties, committed to the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy, should promote its balanced implementation and agree to perform actions referred to therein, where appropriate, in the most effective way to end the threat of terrorism. 5. The Parties also agree to cooperate within the framework of the United Nations in finalising the draft agreement on the comprehensive convention against international terrorism.
