First Aid Attendant Allowance. Where an employee, who is recognised by the St. Xxxx Ambulance Association or other similar body as qualified to render first aid, is appointed by the employer as first aid attendant, they will be paid an amount of $7.70 per week in addition to the appropriate classification rate, provided that this amount will not be part of the employee's ordinary weekly wage for other purposes of this award.

Effective 1 January 2014, a percentage increase First Aid Payments will be linked to the CPI increase for the year to 30 September 2013. Effective 1 January 2015, a percentage increase to those same allowances will be linked to the CPI increase for the year to 30 September 2014.

Payment will be made on or about July 1 upon presentation of proof of purchase.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.
