First Fridays. DB agrees to operate First Fridays in Downtown Bryan on the first Friday of every month between the hours of 5pm and 10pm subject to the following terms: 7.2.1 Boundaries of First Fridays' events are: North: XXX, Xx. Street South: 30th Street East: Texas Avenue West: Xxxx Avenue 7.2.2 DB shall review all complete applications and approve or deny groups or individuals applying for vendor permits in a non-discriminatory manner. 7.2.3 DB shall comply with City's standard process and procedures for obtaining electric permits for electric service for First Friday events. 7.2.4 DB does not have the authority to close any streets in Downtown Bryan, without separate approval of a special event permit (SEP) and street closure form.

All groups or individuals granted use by DBA under this Agreement will be subject to oversight by DBA and not the City. At all other times, if DBA does not make use of the park, then City shall have the ability to rent the park to other parties as approved by DBA at standard rental rates. 7.2.4 Comply with City's standard process and procedures for obtaining an electric permit for electric service for First Friday events. 7.2.6 DBA does not have the authority to close any streets in Downtown Xxxxx. 7.2.7 Maintain a minimum of four (4) feet of pedestrian access on all sidewalks. 7.2.8 DBA shall conduct out-of-area and regional promotional advertising of First Friday events occurring during Texas A&M University home football game weekends.

Related to First Fridays

  • Weekdays All work performed outside of the designated shift Monday through Friday shall be paid at time and one-half (1-1/2) the straight-time hourly wage rate.

  • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.

  • Holidays The following days are observed as holidays by state agencies in accordance with section 110.117, F.S.: • New Year’s Day • Birthday of Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx., third Monday in January • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Veterans’ Day, November 11 • Thanksgiving Day • Friday after Thanksgiving • Christmas Day If any of these holidays falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as a holiday. If any of these holidays falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as a holiday. Customers may have additional holiday(s) observed specifically by the Customer which will be detailed in the Customer’s order.

  • Worked Holidays Employees who are required to work on the above described holidays shall receive the pay due them for the holiday, plus twice their base rate for all hours worked on such holidays.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday. (b) When the employee is scheduled off on a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to schedule the employee off the paid holiday. (c) In the event of a scheduling conflict, 12.07 (a) will be the deciding provision.

  • Lunch If the Company elects to furnish a lunch meal, it will be suitable and may be in the form of a box lunch. The meal shall be eaten at the job site or a Company designated location. Employees eating a box lunch or other Company-provided lunch at the job site will be allowed 30 minutes paid time to eat and will also be granted the dollar amount of the meal allowance as specified under the labor agreement.

  • PLANT HOLIDAYS 12.01 The Company will recognize the following plant holidays: New Year’s Day Labour Day Xxxxx Xxxx Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Victoria Day Remembrance Day Canada Day Christmas Day Civic Holiday Boxing Day National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and any additional holidays as may be declared by the Provincial or Federal Governments. If by reason of an election, the Company is prevented from making deliveries to any area, the Company shall, wherever possible, reschedule work in the week so as to avoid layoffs. If any of the holidays should fall on a Saturday or Sunday, which is an employee’s non-working day, then the Company will designate the work day on which it will be observed. It is understood that either the preceding normal working day or the following normal working day shall be the designated holiday. In order to achieve operational flexibility, the Company may schedule a portion of the workforce to observe the holiday on the Friday and another portion of the workforce to observe the holiday on the Monday. 12.02 Employees will receive eight (8) hours straight time pay for each of such holidays without being required to work on such days provided that: (a) the employee has not been absent without permission on the last work day scheduled for them immediately prior to the day on which the said holiday is observed, or the first work day scheduled for them immediately after the day on which the said holiday is observed. (b) In cases where an employee has been on Weekly Indemnity or Workers Compensation and is cleared by their physician to return to work prior to or on the holiday, they will be eligible for pay for that holiday. (c) If any of the plant holidays above occur during an employee’s absence for which they are on Short Term Disability they shall receive the difference between regular pay and the amount they have received from Short Term Disability for such days during such absence up to fifty-two (52) weeks. 12.03 Any employee who is required to work on any of the aforementioned plant holidays shall be paid at the rate of time and one half in addition to their regular day’s pay of eight (8) hours. Employees will be paid at the rate of double time for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours on a plant holiday. Hours worked on an observed or designated Holiday will be paid at time and one half.

  • Vacation; Holidays The Executive shall be entitled to all public holidays observed by the Company and vacation days in accordance with the applicable vacation policies for senior executives of the Company, which shall be taken at a reasonable time or times.

  • Designated Holidays A part-time employee shall not be paid for the designated holidays but shall, instead be paid four decimal two five percent (4.25%) for all straight-time hours worked.
