Other absences such as illness or vacation will be on the basis of a seven (7) hour day. The nurse has the obligation to inform the Employer when a full flex day is to be taken off. At the end of a flex time period, the nurse is expected to have accounted for one hundred and forty (140) hours for a full-time nurse, pro-rated for part-time. In the event of a deficit, the time not accounted for will be deducted from vacation or comp time balance. Any hours in excess of 140 hours (pro-rated for part-time) will be added to the comp time balance. (d) A nurse intending to flex their work day, up to 7 hours, will negotiate with their team members to ensure adequate coverage of the program and other agency commitments during normal business hours. These hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (e) At no time will coverage be less than that established as a minimum by the Employer without the approval of the Employer.

At the end of a flex time period, the nurse is expected to have accounted for one hundred and forty (140) hours for a full-time nurse, pro-rated for part-time.   • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • REQUESTS FOR FLEXIBLE WORKING ARRANGEMENTS 49.1 Employee may request change in working arrangements s.65 of the Act. Note 1: Section 65 of the Act provides for certain Employees to request a change in their working arrangements because of their circumstances, as set out in s.65(1A).
