Free Tuition. All members and annuitants and their dependents, and the dependents of former members, now deceased, shall be entitled to free tuition for all credit courses offered by Xxxxxx'x University. Dependents of a member are defined as his/her spouse and those children of the member for whom the member could claim income tax allowances.

Free Tuition. Bargaining unit members who do not reside in the Amherst Exempted Village School District but would like to have their child/children attend school in the District must first apply to have their child/children attend school through the Board’s Inter-District Open Enrollment Policy. Only if an employee’s child/children are determined not to be eligible for attendance though the Policy (e.g., the application for enrollment comes after the first day of classes of any school year, etc.) or are otherwise denied attendance by operation of the Policy, may their child/children still attend school in the District without paying tuition by operation of this provision (i.e., the Board shall waive his/her/their tuition). Attendance under this provision relates to preschool through grade 12; however, all children enrolled in the preschool program are subject to paying the established monthly tuition rate. Students in grades K-12 may attend tuition free.

  • Tuition Remission Full-time employees shall be eligible for tuition remission as follows: (For the UMass system, “tuition remission” is defined as the “student tuition credit”).

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Specialist Schools Allowance Funding equivalent to that which a maintained school with the Academy's characteristics would receive in respect of their participation in the specialist schools programme. In the year of conversion, this may continue to be paid by the Local Authority;

  • Sick Leave Donation Program A Labor Management Committee will be established for the purpose of proposing rules and procedures for a new, program. The LMC will be to develop consistent, transparent and equitable proposals for processes across all departments within the City. The LMC shall also explore proposals to lower the minimum leave bank required to donate sick leave and permit donation of sick leave upon separation from the City. The LMC must consult with the Office of Civil Rights to ensure compliance with the City’s Race and Social Justice Initiative. Once the LMC has developed its list of proposals, the City and Coalition of City Unions agrees to reopen each contract on this subject.

  • Free Trial If Customer uses a Free Trial Service, PROS will make such Free Trial Service available to Customer on a trial basis, free of charge, until the earlier of (a) the end of the free trial period for which Customer agreed to use such Free Trial Service, (b) the start date of any Subscription Service purchased by Customer for the same service, or (c) termination of the Free Trial Service by PROS in its sole discretion. Additional trial terms and conditions may appear on the trial registration web page. Any such additional terms and conditions are incorporated into this Agreement by reference and are legally binding. Free Trial Services are provided for evaluation purposes and not for production use. Customer shall have sole responsibility and PROS assumes no liability for any Customer Data that Customer may choose to upload on the Free Trial Services. NOTWITHSTANDING SECTION 5 AND 6 ABOVE, FREE TRIAL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITH NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY AND PROS SHALL HAVE NO INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATIONS, NOR ANY LIABILITY OF ANY TYPE WITH RESPECT TO A FREE TRIAL SERVICE, UNLESS SUCH EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY IS UNENFORCEABLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW IN WHICH CASE, PROS TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A FREE TRIAL SERVICE IS US$1,000. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IN SECTION 7 ABOVE, CUSTOMER SHALL BE FULLY LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ITS USE OF A FREE TRIAL SERVICE. ANY CUSTOMER DATA AND CONFIGURATIONS ENTERED INTO CUSTOMER’S FREE TRIAL SERVICE ACCOUNT MAY BE PERMANENTLY LOST UPON TERMINATION OF THE FREE TRIAL SERVICE.

  • Overtime Equalization The assignment of overtime shall be reasonably equalized within classifications. The normal maximum hours officers will be scheduled is (15) fifteen hours. Upon field training competition, probationary officers will begin their total overtime hours on the overtime equalization chart at the average of all members within the officer classification. An overtime equalization chart shall be maintained within the department. The chart shall list all overtime offers and each officer’s declined and accepted hours for each particular offer. Each time an officer is offered overtime, the number of overtime hours worked, or the number of hours declined, will be credited to officer’s chart. The overtime equalization chart shall be posted monthly.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.
