Health Insurance/Full-time Employees. Until such time as the terms and conditions of the coverage program detailed herein can be implemented, the City will continue to provide bargaining unit members and their dependents with the same coverage as was in effect prior to the commencement of this agreement. Effective as soon as can be implemented following the signing of this agreement, the City will provide all full- time employees and their eligible dependents with BC/BS Flexible Blue Plan 2 High health care coverage and Rx 5/30/60, or an equivalent coverage program, with the City of Bay City funding a Health Savings Account (HSA) for the deductible (as identified in the chart below). BCBS Flexible Blue Plan 2 high deductible health care coverage does not coordinate with Medicare, therefore any participants enrolled in Medicare, both active and pre-65 retirees, will be placed on the BCBS 2+1 Supplemental Plan or equivalent.

Health Insurance/Full-time Employees. The Employer will provide comprehensive health insurance with family options to regular fulltime employees consistent with the benefits structure by the Employer. The Employer shall pay between 68% to 80% of the health insurance premiums for all bargaining unit employees. Prior to implementing any substantial and material change in insured benefits, the Employer shall meet with the Union to discuss the changes, provided the Union requests such a meeting within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving notice of the changes. If the Employer’s foregoing modification results in less total compensation for employees in the bargaining unit, the Employer shall bargain the changes with the Union.
Health Insurance/Full-time Employees. The City will provide all full-time employees and their eligible dependents with BCBS Flexible Blue Plan High Deductible Health Plan, or an equivalent coverage program, with the City of Bay City funding an HSA for the deductible (as identified in the chart below). Employees may choose from either of the two coverage options outlined below, with the applicable employee cost-sharing provisions.
