High School Athletics. Step 1 Column 1 is used for multiplying the Responsibility Level (RL) percentage to determine the stipend amount. (In 2023-2024 Step 1 Column 1 is $49,390.) Longevity - Athletic coaches will be given a longevity multiplier for consecutive years of coaching in the same sport. Years 3-4 - Extra 1% of step 1 column 1 Years 5+ - Extra 2% of step 1 column 1 Any varsity coach required to spend additional time due to CIF extension of season will receive a $150.00 per week additional stipend. Each athletic stipend title below is one stipend to be paid for by the District, unless otherwise specified. If there is no team in a given year, the stipend will not be reallocated to another team or level.
